Kismet Keybana is a 1,450 sq. ft. single-story home situated on the second floor of our beautiful Key Largo stilt home. When you arrive to this oasis away from home, you can expect to be surrounded by palms, be greeted with views of the canal, and have views of the incredible Florida Keys sunset.
Our home is perfect for couples and families alike and features:
3 bedrooms (1 king bed with TV, 2 queen beds)
2 bathrooms (2 showers, 1 small bathtub with built-in seat)
Full kitchen with gas stove, appliances, and supplies
Living room with smart TV (access to login to guest’s personal streaming accounts via Roku) and board games
Indoor dining area with plenty of seating
Office work space with Wi-Fi
Laundry space with washer, dryer, and supplies
Balcony with lounge furniture
Outdoor tiki hut, BBQ grill, and outdoor dining space
Hot tub
Pool table with accessories

Treat the property as if it were your own by respecting the space, keeping noise levels to a minimum, cleaning up after yourself, reporting any damages or issues immediately, and behaving with courtesy and responsibility as you would in your own home. Further details are outlined below.
1. Health and Safety Guidelines
• Peanut Products: Absolutely NO PEANUT products allowed in the home or on the property, due to host family’s severe allergies.
• Pets: No pets allowed, due to host family’s allergies.
• Smoking, Drugs, and Firearms: No smoking, drugs, or firearms of any kind on property, including indoors and outdoors.
• Fire safety: Due to property’s close vicinity to fireworks store and backyard tiki hut, no open flames or fireworks of any kind are permitted both indoors and outdoors excluding the use of gas stove and barbecue grill.
• Hot Tub Safety:
• For both safety and maintenance purposes, please keep the hot tub temperature within 80-100 °F.
• Exercise caution when using the hot tub, especially with children, while drinking, or if you have a health condition.
• Carefully enter and exit the hot tub by stepping slowly and using handlebars to avoid slips and falls.
• No glass (glassware, glass bottles, etc.) should be used in outdoor spaces, especially in or near the hot tub area to avoid accidents and injuries.
• Carbon Monoxide Monitors: For your safety, do not unplug carbon monoxide monitors located near kitchen/dining area and work/laundry space.
• Gas Stove: After use, please ensure that gas stove knobs are fully turned off.
• Children’s Supervision: Children should not be left unsupervised, especially in exterior portions of the home such as the balcony, hot tub, and canal-front backyard areas as access to the canal is not fenced or blocked off.
2. Property Use and Restrictions
• Commercial Activities: No commercial photography or filming allowed on the property.
• Events and Gatherings: No parties, events, or large gatherings allowed, and no more than 10 people allowed on property.
• Visitors: No visitors without approval from your host.
• Overnight Guests: No overnight guests permitted beyond those included in the booking (maximum occupancy: 6 guests). Additional unauthorized overnight guests, beyond the maximum occupancy of 6 guests, will be charged a fee of $125 per person per night.
• Furniture and Decorations:
• Do not move furniture.
• Do not attach any tape to walls or furniture.
• Please make sure to replace protective/storage covers on the hot tub and pool table when not in use.
• Mailbox and Mail: You may not use the mailbox or receive mail at the host’s address.
• Access Restrictions: Guests have access to the entire home, but are not permitted access to the following off-limits areas: garage, mailbox, owner’s closet located in the primary bedroom closet, and upper-most kitchen cabinets used for display/decor items only.
• Barbecue Grill: Please clean the outdoor barbecue grill after use and turn off the valve of the propane tank.
3. Noise and Neighbor Considerations
• Quiet Hours: Quiet hours are from 11 PM to 7 AM, so please respect our neighbors by avoiding being loud or disruptive during these hours.
4. Property Maintenance and Cleanliness
• Cleaning Up:
• Please clean up spills on countertops promptly, to avoid stains.
• Please do not place hot cookware directly on countertops; trivets are provided and labeled in the drawer to the left of the stove.
• Please be mindful of trash that could be blown into the canal or ocean, including light-weight objects such as paper products, plastic, balloons, etc.
• If trash or recycle bins are full, please place them at the curb for pick-up on Mondays and Thursdays for trash and on Saturdays for recycling.
• You may be charged an excessive cleaning fee if the property is left in a significantly dirtier state than normal and requires cleaning that goes beyond what is considered normal as deemed by us and our cleaners.
• Thermostat: Please do not set the thermostat warmer than 80 °F or colder than 70 °F to prevent damage to the A/C unit.
• Excessive Utilities: Excessive use of utilities, including but not limited to electricity, water, and gas, that exceeds typical activity may be charged up to 1-month after check-out as determined by your host.
5. Security and Property Care
• Emergency Contacts: In case of an emergency, always contact appropriate emergency services first and then contact us via your booking platform: VRBO, Expedia, Hotels.com, etc.
• Non-Emergencies: For non-emergencies and prompt response-time, please contact us via your booking platform: VRBO, Expedia, Hotels.com, etc. during daytime hours.
• Contacting After Hours: Though you may message us at any time via your booking platform: VRBO, Expedia, Hotels.com, etc., messages sent during quiet hours may not be acknowledged until the following day.
• Damages: Report damages immediately, with photos, via your booking platform: VRBO, Expedia, Hotels.com, etc.
• Closing Doors and Windows: Please make sure windows and doors that lead to the outside are closed and locked when you leave the property.
• Cameras: The exterior security cameras, which are disclosed in the listing, are not to be blocked, disabled, or inhibited in any way.
6. Utility and Facility Use
• Boat Lift & Floating Dock Rental: You may request to rent and use the boat-lift or dock a boat on property for a fee of $25/night. You may request to rent and use the floating docks to dock 1-2 jet skis or wave runners for a fee of $10/night per vehicle. Intent to do so, must be disclosed at the time of booking.
• Food and Beverage: Please keep food in kitchen and dining areas only, not in bedrooms.
7. Wildlife and Environmental Awareness
• Local Wildlife: You may see a manatee in the canal during your stay, and it is unlawful to touch, feed, or interact with them, so please respect the local wildlife and enjoy the view. If entering the canal, you may come in contact with potentially dangerous marine life. Please exercise caution and enter the water at your own risk.
8. Long-Term Stays and Extra Services
• Stays 3+ weeks: Stays 3 weeks or longer require biweekly (once every 2 weeks) walk-throughs/cleanings at an additional cost, which is scheduled based on your preferred day and time.
• Early Check-In / Late Check-Out: At an additional cost, you may request early check-in and/or late check-out, and approval is subject to availability and approval by your host.
9. Booking and Cancellation Terms
• Cancellation Policy: Guests should be aware of the host's cancellation policy, and in the event of dissatisfaction, guests must communicate their concerns to the host promptly. Refunds or partial refunds are subject to host approval and VRBO’s policies.
• Property Damage or Theft: Property damage, theft, and/or violation of house rules may be fined accordingly.
• Rule Changes: Your host reserves the right to change or add house rules at any time, for any circumstance, and inform you of such changes.
• Booking Cancellation: Your host reserves the right to cancel a booking at any time without refund for violation of house rules or booking terms.
10. Additional Notes
• Property Representation: Please note that while we strive to provide accurate representation of the property, the colors may vary slightly due to lighting conditions, and as we continually improve the property, minor changes to decor may be made, such as adding/replacing/moving furniture and decor, such as throw blankets, bedding, etc.
• Risk Disclaimer: Utilize amenities on the property at your own risk; we are not liable for any injuries or damages that may occur.
• Agreement to House Rules: Prior to booking confirmation, you must read and agree to the aforementioned house rules stated above.
