We thoroughly enjoyed our visit at the Seahill Cottage! The cottage was private and had a wonderful view of St Mary’s bay. It was also a great location for doing some hiking/whale watching on Brier Island and Long Island.

A great secluded house with a stunning ocean view from the hillside. The house is well equipped and has a nostalgic charme. If you want to explore the Digby neck and Brier Island this is a great place to stay.

Beautiful location and in the proximity of all essential services. Also, Sandy Cove is a stunning beach and so close. Well equipped kitchen and very comfortable bed. The views are simply stunning.

Great vacation

Beautiful view of St Mary’s Bay and conveniently located not far from quaint Digby and all of the activities and beauty down the Digby neck. Whale watching and lobster boat tour.

Love the Digby Neck.

We enjoyed our time at the site and in the nearby town of Digby as well as our daytrips to nearby places such as Westport, Sandy Cove and Freeport.

Spectacular view!!

We really enjoyed our stay and the rustic atmosphere of the cottage. A relaxed getaway in an isolated private setting. Great place to unwind. The view was amazing.

Amazing views across Saint Mary's Bay through large, beautiful windows. While the interior style is rustic, the bathrooms and kitchen are updated and the bed was very comfortable with beautiful linens. The kitchen had anything you could need and we ended up cooking all of our meals, thanks to the fresh haddock from Carla's Seafood in Digby. It was wonderful to wake up to the sunrise over the water and we had fun watching the tides and bird watching - crows, Yellow-rumped Warblers, gulls, ducks, sparrows, and a few too far away for me to identify. We had a great time exploring Digby Neck, Long Island, Brier Island and Bear River. We also drove inland one day to visit beautiful Kejimkujik National Park. Carol, the owner, provided detailed information prior to our stay. Melvin, the property manager, met us when we arrived, showed us around, answered questions, and gave us guidance on places to visit, where to see whales, and where to purchase fresh seafood. He is a great ambassador for the area. We watched 5-6 humpback whales feeding for over an hour off of Long Island, thanks to Melvin's suggestions on where and when to look for them. Note: The water in the area has a high iron content. If you prefer softer water, pick up the readily available jugs of water at the grocery store on your way in.

Charming cottage with great view

The house was a pleasant size for us three adults. It is well equipped with everything you need. The beds are great! We slept really well! And then this magnificent view of St. Mary's Bay....

Wonderful Place to Stay

My wife and I just spent two weeks at the Seawall Cottage and we couldn’t have been happier. The cottage is well kept, and well located. We made day trips down the Digby Neck, into Annapolis Royal, Maviellette Beach, and even some vineyards near Wolfville. Carol, the owner, and Melvin the property manager are also very easy and pleasant to work with. I’d strongly advise considering this cottage if you plan to stay in the area!

Wonderful stay in digby

Picture perfect cottage for calm and reflection. We would hop in the car every day and head out on an adventure. Very special spots were Mavillette beach and Sandy cove. A MUST see. The view was amazing at the cottage itself. Bald eagles, meteors and rainbows! All magical.
