VRBO Temecula House Rental ReviewThe house was a perfect size for our group of eight adults and could have easily accommodated another couple. It was very comfortable and overall well stocked. However, a few of us found the beds to be a bit too firm, and some of the pillows could use replacing. While the house and property were gorgeous, there were quite a few cobwebs both inside and outside. The gardener mowed the lawn on our first day but left grass clippings all over the back patio. Additionally, a smoke detector in one of the bedrooms started chirping late in the evening; since we couldn't locate replacement batteries, we had to disconnect it.All in all, it was a very pleasant and comfortable place to stay, and we would certainly stay here again if we return to Temecula.

Extremely friendly and responsive host. Went above and beyond by providing a playpen and high chair for my infant. Home is even more beautiful than the pictures show. Truly dreamy. Thank you!

The house was as pictured, the only thing that would have been helpful is knowing that we would be driving on an unpaved road. We traveled at night and it was a bit scary to drive on this road. Also when we got to the house, it was also very dark. We all were a bit nervous since the road and house was pitch black. Lights should have been on (at least outside), so we could see entering the home. Also, we had to call to receive a code to enter the gate. Also, we had to buy toilet tissue, paper towels and dishwashing soap. It would have been nice to have that available. A little outdated but my sister ended up having a good birthday so that's what counts the most.

We didn't realize there was a dirt road until the host sent us the info for check in. We arrived at the gate and there were two key pads, one worked and the other did not. The inside of the house was beautiful and clean. The outside was full of bird poop on furniture and side walks. We had to clean all the chairs when we arrived. In the Jack and Jill bathroom there was a loud squealing noise coming from the toilet on and off all day long. The views were very pretty. I would suggest putting in a pool.

Host was super responsive and accommodating. When we couldn’t find an iron, they ordered one and had it delivered within a couple hours. Host was very easy to work with! The space was also super for our family… beds for everyone! The downsides were it wasn’t meticulously cleaned… the windows were dirty, cobwebs in the windows, dirty laundry in the hamper, leftover eyelashes and toothbrushes in the bathroom drawers. The kitchen was ill equipped and dishes in the cupboard were not 100% clean. Fridge wasn’t wiped out. There was also a very bumpy road to get there … full of ruts so not great if you have a small vehicle.I think overall, if they improve their cleaning and maintenance of the property, it would be a great place to stay.

Host did not send instructions ahead of time and I had to reach out to her to get home access information. The house interior was great but there was so much noise it was difficult to sleep. Possibly because the walls are so thin. The thermostat got turned up by itself so we all woke up because it was so hot.

Worst host you can ask for. Very unreliable. I would not recommend booking even if its the only thing available . Will cancel on you any minute.

Pros: Host was very accommodating, the views from the place were amazing, the house itself was beautiful, all the rooms were fully stocked and slept everyone comfortably. It was a great place to host a girls trip! Cons: There is a long dirt road to get to the house and some cars had some trouble making it up, I would have liked to know beforehand. The last guests forgot to take out the trash and the house smelled a little bit and we had to clean that up. All the dishes in the cabinets were dirty and we had to wash them before using. The tile lip around the fireplace is a little dangerous, my friend tripped over it and her entire toenail ripped off.

Didn’t have iron and iron board. Dish washer door malfunction and hit us so is unsafe. There was dirty comforter in the closet floor, hair in the tub. The house was not throughly clean.
