Cook, dine, and spend time together in the gorgeous kitchen with quartz countertops and stainless steel appliances, or unwind on the deck to watch the sun set over the water. Each of the five bedrooms features its own bathroom and deck access, including a beautiful top-level bedroom designed for a relaxing nights sleep. The fun continues downstairs in the rec room with foosball, a wet bar, and direct access to your private backyard oasis—complete with a large 12x20ft pool, soothing hot tub, and pier for kayaking, crabbing, or simply soaking up the moment. Guests at Once Upon A Tide also have access to the Monteray Shores community amenities, including tennis courts, a fitness center, and a large outdoor pool.
With beach access, shops, and restaurants just minutes away, you'll have everything you need for the perfect Corolla escape at Once Upon a Tide.

Beach Access: Head east on Monteray Drive. Once you reach NC12, cross over and head east on Dolphin Street. There is a wooden dune walkway at the end of Dolphin Street, however, for a parking lot, turn left onto Whalehead Drive and head north until you reach the Sailfish Public Parking Lot, which is only a 4 minute drive from the house! There is also a beach access at the end of Sailfish Drive.
Advance Year Bookings: Accepts Bookings within 51 Weeks in Advance : This home allows the current year's guest the first option to rebook their dates for the future year. Contact our office for details on how to book this home for next year.

All reservations are offered to purchase travel insurance for an additional 7.75% of your rent and taxes. Please refer to the rental agreement you will be signing to accept or decline this coverage as your refund in the time of cancellation will be dependent on your acceptance in most situations. All guests must sign and return a rental agreement before reservations are confirmed. Payment for travel insurance, if accepted, will be processed upon receipt of this signed agreement.
Standard cancellation policy is: CANCELLATION POLICY and SUBSTITUTIONS - Any changes, including changing dates, switching of properties, or complete cancellations will invoke the cancellation policy. Agent recommends all Renters purchase travel insurance offered at time of booking to protect them in the event of an unexpected event affecting their vacation. Agent cannot offer future credits or immediate refunds for unexpected cancellations due to emergencies regardless of the situation, including but not limited to weather events and acts of God, unexpected illnesses, injury or death, changing of plans, or job loss. Please do not ask. All cancellations are subject to a fifty dollar ($50.00) cancellation fee. Cancellations must be submitted to Agent in writing (email is acceptable). In the event of cancellation, no refund of monies paid will be made unless the Property is re-rented for the same price and time period of this original vacation rental agreement. If the Property is re-rented for a lesser price or time period, the original Tenant will receive a refund for the difference between the originally agreed upon rental amount and the rebooked rental amount as Owner is entitled to receive the full amount of the original rental agreement. Agent will make every effort to re-rent the Property at the full amount. Tenant acknowledges that Agent has full discretion on negotiating rental rates in an effort to get the Property re-rented and make the Owner whole, while also attempting to get the Tenant the highest refund possible.
