Solid place for large groups, 3rd floor doesn’t get A/C so just a heads up depending on when you book but during the nights it wasn’t much of a problem, 4.5-5/5

We had to turn off the gas the last night as we came home to a strong gas smell. Therefore no stove the next morning. This was NOT a clean place (see kitchen and living room rugs, behind bathroom stand, etc. ). No smoke detector. Watered down soap. We had to fold towels from dryer and there were no kitchen towels for wiping dishes. Only 6 coffee cups for 9 people, only two dining chairs. Couldn’t get into the place by 3PM, as cleaners were still there. Got in around 6PM. Lamps with no bulbs. Bedrooms were ok. There are deer in the backyard, which is nice.

Hey Jennifer! Thank you for following up and sharing your concerns regarding your stay. I sincerely apologize for the cleaning delays and any housekeeping issues you experienced. As previously communicated, we had a limited turnover window between reservations, which unfortunately resulted in the property not being fully prepared by your arrival. I acknowledge that this fell short of our standards. Regarding the reported gas smell, after reviewing the situation, we determined that a stove burner had been left on rather than there being an underlying gas leak. While I understand the concern this caused, it is important to clarify the circumstances surrounding that incident. As for the additional concerns regarding cleanliness, lighting, furniture, and amenities, I appreciate you bringing these to my attention. We take guest feedback seriously and will review these items to ensure they are properly addressed. However, I would prefer to keep our communication within the booking platform so that everything remains properly documented and transparent for both parties. Thank you for your understanding.
