This home was perfect!! So much room and beautiful property. We really enjoyed playing games on the dining table that seats 12. The view was spectacular. Easy access to the Dells. We absolutely loved it!! Highly recommend!!

The property is beautiful and the lake access and yard are amazing. The outdoor deck is spacious and a great place for a large group to gather. The large indoor gathering spaces were also great. Ultimately we had a wonderful family weekend!

It was an excellent property for our extended family vacation. Wonderful gathering rooms, excellent yard for fun and games, and the game room was used a lot. Make sure to get a lake map if you are using the lake for recreational boating (to avoid the stump zone). Very light lake traffic which allowed for plenty of space for our boating fun!

Outstanding property. The best we’ve had in 14 years of vrbo experience. Clean , especially well stocked with toys/entertainment, excellent beach area. Really all we could have hoped for. Our privacy was respected. Fishing was poor- maybe would have been better with a rowboat. With all the positives, that was relatively minor

This was a great place for 17 of us to gather for a week. Plenty of room for everyone and kids had so much fun playing soccer, swimming, kayaking and playing all tge games in the downstairs.

This home is a great destination for a family or friends getaway! There’s plenty of space to gather, relax, and make memories. The beds were super comfortable, sleeping arrangements were plentiful, and the kitchen had everything needed to cook and clean up. The hot tub was clean and ready to enjoy! Although we didn’t use the lake equipment, it was nice knowing it was available.You can tell this is a popular and well-loved property, but some areas could use additional attention. We noticed scuff marks and smudges on the walls and floors, stained towels, significant dust buildup on the high ceiling fans, and quite a few flies inside. There was also a tarp covering one window, a taped-off door in another room, and visible holes in some exterior panels. While these issues didn’t prevent us from enjoying our stay, more thorough cleaning and maintenance would really elevate the experience.Access was easy, and the host was informative, responsive, and communicative throughout our stay. Overall, we had a wonderful time! This home has so much to offer and is a great setting for bringing loved ones together. With a little extra attention to upkeep, it could be even better. We would definitely recommend it and happily stay again!

The property was fantastic. It is on a beautiful lake, close to ski areas. The hosts were very kind and very responsive. The property was very clean, had great amenities for kids, and had everything you needed. Highly recommend this property!

Positives: views of the lake were perfect! The layout of the house is also really nice with plenty of gathering places and bathrooms. Lots of great water activities provided by the hosts. The downsides: the house needs some TLC. It was dirty and a little rundown. There was a window covered with a tarp. The upstairs bedrooms all had individual AC units venting through the windows, which ruined the views. There are so many holes in walls that need patching and painting, a cigarette burn in the couch, water stains on the couch downstairs. The floors were dirty. The bathroom towels were old and well used. The stairs to the sauna were dangerous as was the patio outside the basement. I would probably not recommend this place for the price it’s charging.

The lake was fantastic, kids could go out very far as it was shallow. Beach was great. Wonderful to have supplied a paddle boat. The game room downstairs was a lot of fun. Beds were very comfortable and plenty of them! Lots of towels provided except in the kitchen. Could have used several more hand towels and washcloths. Communication with the host was very quick. They failed to mention someone comes every Thursday to mow the lawn so that was a surprise. The concrete out the basement into the yard is in extremely rough shape and is a huge tripping hazard. We were nervous any time our older family members would walk that way. A few people tripped and stubbed their toes. Otherwise it was wonderful and we’d stay again!

The setting is spectacular and the property includes a lake, woods and open lawn. Prior to check-in we did not have a floor plan of the home so we didn't know which bedrooms were on what floor and where the bathrooms were located relative to the bedrooms. The door lock is complicated and we never received instructions about how to use it. The refrigerator has an ice maker but we could not get it to work, even after several exchanges with the host. We had a fireplace but no fireplace tools. One grill malfunctioned so we could not get the temperature above 300 degrees. There is ample seating for large groups and the deck had wonderful furniture for lounging or eating. The stove top is induction cooking so using pans that don't fit the burner area will not heat. A gas range would be wonderful to have. Although the house was generally clean, there were places that had not been cleaned - table tops had smudges and stains, the bathrooms were marginally okay but could have been clearner. We were not informed that the lawn service was coming to mow so that was a big surprise. Fortunately we didn't have outdoor plans that day. Overall, a beautiful property that could be enhanced by some increased attention to detail with more complete instructions, a more thorough cleaning, appliances that work better (ice maker, stove) and more information about layout.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay and the property has a lot of potential, especially the beautiful lake views and relaxing atmosphere. However, we were disappointed by the number of things that were in disrepair when we arrived.There were several maintenance issues throughout the property, including a torn screen door, broken game room equipment, exposed wiring, a non-functioning door, and noticeable exterior erosion/sand buildup near one of the entrances. Most concerning was that one of the upper windows was covered by a tarp. While we understand that unexpected repairs happen, we really feel something like that should have been disclosed to us before arrival rather than discovered after check-in.Additionally, there was a construction crew at the property during two evenings of our stay building a new backyard playset. We were given notice, but it came only a few hours before they arrived rather than before our trip. The crew themselves were respectful and professional, but having active work taking place during our vacation definitely took away from the peaceful escape we were hoping for.Despite these issues, we still had a good overall time at the property. We just believe the condition of the home and the timing of ongoing work should have been communicated more transparently ahead of the stay.

Thank you for staying at our home! We did have a window broken and that is why it was covered up, but we should have done a better job of communicating its status with you. When things happen, sometimes we are at the mercy of the vendor repairing it in terms of their time frame. Thank you for being patient and understanding during your stay. The house in Briggsville is beautiful and large enough that our large family was comfortable. There were a few issues with coffee pots (both of them leaked)..... I purchased a new one to use during our stay. There was also an issue with 1 room not being available because of closet construction and 2 upstairs rooms with windows covered with blue tarps outside to accommodate some portable air conditioning. The tarp covered windows had to be open and let in a massive amount of bugs during the night, including lightening bugs. We had to move people downstairs to the couch which was not what we expected and paid handsomely for. We did enjoy the porch, sandy beach and floating island, The soccer equipment was a big hit too. We cooked and were happy that most of us were able to sit at one table. I would like to think that there might be some refund due to the unavailability of beds as was expected. We usually stay in Door County and did travel there to do some salmon fishing. We are already planning our next gathering and will return to Door County. Thanks for asking. Sharon Podolski for all
