Charming cabin in the heart of Daniel Boone National Forest. Our cabin is centrally located in the middle of Red river Gorge-Natural Bridge area, Cave Run Marina (main marina for rentals), two ATV Parks, Mt. Sterling and Morehead, KY. We are two miles from Cave Run Lake and Long Bow Marina. Our fully furnished cabin has two full rooms each equipped with own gas fireplace (one with remote), couch, sleeping quarters, cable tv and wi-fi internet. Enjoy a new 'screened in porch we call our 'Resort room', with a nautical theme and new (2021) Nordic hot tub with' 'massage jets', and whirlpool function.

We just added the resort style screened in porch which adds a unique dimension to getting away. You can enjoy the outdoors without the rain, sleet or snow hindering your enjoyment of the hot tub, surfing the net, dining, bringing most desired activities you do inside the cabin to the outside undisturbed. Cook out on our all new park style charcoal grill with cement pad in a bed of river rock then chill enjoying a good meal in the comfort of your private 'Resort room'. We have 'Barley' the over 11ft friendly bear who loves getting his picture taken. Twin Knobs has a lake beach and a "private vendor", who rents our kayaks and canoes. Cave Run Marina rents out Pontoon, fishing and paddle boats on a 10 mile lake. Red River Gorge offers horseback riding , ziplining, a Sky-lift, rock climbing, caving, trade shops and eateries etc...

We have Amish furniture and bed, extra nice decor ( Cuckoo Clocks throughout), satellite TV, firepit and cabin that is fully furnished; for a more than satisfying experience. (We have a security camera at the front and side entrance for the safety of the property and guest).

Absolutely loved our stay! The cabin was spotless, cozy, and beautifully decorated, with every detail thought of to make us feel at home. The location was peaceful and private, perfect for relaxing and recharging. The hosts were amazing and truly went above and beyond. We can’t wait to come back!!

Total Relaxation!

My husband and I booked this somewhat last minute on a weekend that we knew it was going to rain. Our hope was that we could hibernate in the cabin all weekend and just relax, and that's exactly what we got. The screened in wrap-around deck let us enjoy the outdoors and the hot tub even though the weather was awful. The rain on the tin roof was like a lullaby and we never left the cabin once. Great communication from the manager as well prior to the trip. This may be our new "home away from home" when we need a little break and would highly recommend to others seeking the same.

Wonderful Fall getaway!

We loved our getaway! House was clean and exactly what we were anticipating. Enjoyed the great outdoors with many hikes and spent evenings by the fire grilling, hot tubbing and relaxing. We had no issues getting to destination, checin was easy and perfect

Perfect Long Weekend

The property was amazing. I was in the hot tub every night. Took nice walks during the day. Visited my dad's hometown West Liberty. This property was close to everything we wanted to see and do. Very clean and had everything we needed. Very relaxing.

Lovely cozy getaway

It feels like you are staying at uncle Phil’s cabin. The decor is lovely, the rooms are clean, and the porch was amazing. This was the most relaxing rental we have ever stayed at. We can’t wait to come back for another trip.

Exactly the type of cabin we were hoping for. Clean, spacious screened in porch with a covered hot tub. Very private setting. Management is very accommodating and thorough with any answers you may need.

Cozy getaway

The cabin was clean and well stocked with anything you might need. The hot tub and screened in deck/porch were great! Very relaxing! A nice getaway from the hustle and bustle. The owner, Phil, was very informative prior to our visit via text and a phone call. Listing activities and pointing out stores and places to eat close by. Very nice stay.

Great cabin for a small get away

Cabin was very clean and well equipped for what we needed. If you have a boat the parking is a little tight. Other wise everything was excellent. Thank you to the owners for their great place to use for a few days.

Wonderful break from the world

The cabin had such warm country feel to it, but had all of the amenities of home. It was a perfect short getaway for the two of us and our furbaby! Away from the hustle bustle of everyday life and a short drive to great trails and the natural bridge. The owner is great and provided a list of things to do in the area with great driving directions. We will definitely be back!

The property is secluded, the kitchen has everything you would need to use while cooking, and the property owner was very helpfun! The cabin was clean and stocked with pillows and blankets. Just need to take your own towels.

A local told me when I purchased this cabin 'It was the best kept secret at Cave Run Lake'. My family has enjoyed the beauty of the forest and the seclusion. Time seems to slow down when you view the 2 private acres adjoining the Forest. You notice the squirrels, hummingbirds, turkeys and deer. All you see is an abundance of wildlife and trees. This property has natural beauty and all the amenities you enjoy!

Surfing the internet in our brand new nautical themed "Resort room", which is a huge screened in porch with a new 'Nordic hot tub', that features a blaster jet and whirlpool function. Enjoy our wildlife viewing area in back of our cabin featuring an Amish rocker and porch swing which takes your experience to the next level. Taking you picture with 'Barley ', the 12 foot friendly Bear and gazing at the stars through a large porch screen in a new Nordic hot tub in a private setting is an experience that you will enjoy. I find many people with a full agenda staying at the cabin, grilling, surfing the internet, hot tubbing undercover, wildlife viewing or enjoying the generous satellite TV. There is something for every age group. Some stay in ,while others get out and do, then meet in the middle.
