Lived up to the listing description and was everything we wanted for a weekend trip. Having the beach access with playground was excellent, and the 2 SUP and 3 kayaks made it convenient to get right on the water at any time. Would definitely come back!

Hosts really went above and beyond by introducing us to a babysitter for our young children as we had an adults only wedding to attend during our stay. House was very kid friendly. We loved having the playground across the street to utilize. Awesome views of the lake and very centrally located.

We were very happy with this house. Quiet nice location off a small beach with playground. Great view of sunset over the water from that beach and the yard. Everything was well maintained. Comfy beds and couches. Big kitchen and game area was fun! Loved the easiness of using the kayaks. Hot tub was great. Enjoyed making s’mores on the fire pit. Highly recommend this house for a getaway. We were there for our son’s Crew Regatta in Milford area and will plan to book again for the Spring regattas. Thank you!

Adorable lakehouse! The beds were super comfortable, which is not the norm with most rental properties we've stayed at. We really appreciated those comfy beds and the hot tub after a day of hiking at Proud Lake. Definitely recommend this property if you want a relaxing stay by the lake. Thank you to the hosts!!

We had such a relaxing getaway with the family for Mother’s Day weekend! The property was spotless, the game room was a huge hit, and the special treats for our dog were such a thoughtful touch. We loved spending time in the hot tub and around the fire pit each night. Highly recommend for a fun and relaxing family escape!

It was a great place to stay, with cozy vibes, pleasant views, and plenty of amenities for our family to enjoy. We visited for a ski weekend at Alpine Valley, so we didn’t get to experience the lake other than the nice view, but I can tell this would be an amazing summer getaway as well.

Everything was exceptional. Fit our families need perfectly. The amenities were amazing ( hot tub, kayaks, beach and game room). There were 8 of us ages 73-9, plenty of room and something for everyone. Plenty of parking.Easy check in and accessibility. Would definitely recommend.

Host was great, the place was neat, clean and had all the amenities you would need. There is a nice view of the lake (even if it was frozen) and a public beach/playground right next door. It has a nice walking area too. The bonus for us was the fireplace, arcade games and game table!

The house was very clean and fit our needs perfectly. I can imagine it is a great spot in the summer. I would definitely stay there again if a need with that size group presents itself. The hosts were very helpful though out the pre stay and our stay.

This place was perfect for our family. We had 4 adults, 2 kids, and a dog and everyone loved it. The location is quiet and not too far from everything. The water pressure was great and so was the water itself. The kitchen has everything you could need. The outdoor space was lovely. The hottub was a great addition. The house was great and so was the host. They went out of their way to get extra stuff set up for our 1 year old, set up a pack and play with mattress, supplies a video monitor, and brought toys for her. They made traveling with an infant easy. They also had homemade dog treats from a local bakery for our fur baby.

We had a wonderful time at this peaceful and spacious lake cottage. Just steps to a quiet sandy beach for the kids to relax and play after hockey camp. They loved walking down the block to get DQ in the evening. Plenty of room for our party of 5. The outdoor seating area was so comfy and relaxing. Well-appointed kitchen and we loved getting the paddleboards out! Having a huge laundry room was a great bonus for all the hockey gear drying!

Absolutely loved this house. Wonderful location with a beautiful view of the lake. There is a park across the street where both of my dogs could play. Super clean and everything was in working order. Very pleasant host.

My friend and I met here with our kids (four teens). The space was amazing - plenty of room to relax on the patio and around the fire pit, or connect over canoeing, swimming, hot tubbing, foosball, ping pong, air hockey, xBox, and other games. Beds were super comfortable. We all enjoyed our own plans of relaxing and napping when we wanted and socializing as desired - and we ALL love the idea of returning to do it again! While the location IS pet friendly, it did not smell of pets and did not have any evidence (hair, damage, etc.) that pets had been there at all! There are steps to negotiate if that's a concern (only to the upstairs bedrooms/bathroom and to step down into the kitchen area). Not far from restaurants or groceries. Plenty of parking. The host is very thoughtful and accommodating. We hope to return!
