Welcome to The Overlook—a stunning 7-bedroom, 5½-bathroom mountain retreat near Manchester, Vermont, where breathtaking views of Stratton Mountain surround you from nearly every room. Our family spent 15 months lovingly transforming this home into a magical Vermont getaway where we could gather, laugh, and make lasting memories, and now we’re thrilled to share it with you! The Overlook combines classic Vermont charm with modern comfort, offering an ideal setting for families and groups to relax and reconnect. The main level is designed for easy, single-floor living and includes a beautiful master suite with a private bath and sweeping mountain views, a cozy bear-themed bunk room that kids adore, and a fully equipped kitchen with modern appliances perfect for cooking and entertaining. At the heart of the home is a stunning dining area featuring a 13.5-foot single-slab American walnut table, handcrafted for family meals and memorable gatherings. The spacious living room invites you to unwind by the large custom stone fireplace with its glass-door wood-burning stove, where you can watch the fire dance as you take in the panoramic mountain scenery through floor-to-ceiling windows. The laundry room is conveniently located on the same level, making this floor completely stair-free. We also have a 2nd master suite with king bed located in the loft off of the main level. The lower level is perfect for larger family groups and includes four additional bedrooms—two of which feature private en-suite bathrooms—providing plenty of comfort and privacy for guests. You’ll also find a large game room with a pool table, foosball, and a great selection of family games, along with a spacious bunk room offering four full beds, ideal for kids, cousins, or late-night movie marathons. Step outside and experience Vermont’s natural beauty on the expansive deck overlooking the mountains and valleys, or head down to the new patio area where you’ll find a fire pit with southern mountain views, a BBQ area, and a private hot tub perfect for relaxing under the stars. A custom “Overlook” cornhole game adds a touch of friendly fun to the outdoor experience. Located just minutes from the shops, restaurants, and outdoor adventures of Manchester, with easy access to Bromley, Stratton Mountain, Magic, Okemo and the Equinox Preserve, The Overlook offers something special in every season—whether you’re skiing, hiking, leaf-peeping, or simply soaking up the views. Our summer stay at Jason’s home was wonderful. Jason was communicative, the property and view were beautiful, and there was plenty to do locally. Our family (ages ranging from 4 to 64) was incredibly comfortable. Great amenities. We’d absolutely consider coming back if Jason will have us!

Great experience overall. Host was very responsive to our needs both before and during our stay. Property is beautiful and has great common areas for larger groups. Great location to mountains and any shopping needs that may arise. Would love to stay at this property again.

Beautiful house, with great views and picturesque sunsets, super easy to hike Bromley trails with direct access to runs. Cute general store a mile up the road had delicious baked goods. Bromley adventure park was a great way to spend a whole day with tweens and teens. The kids spent a lot of time playing pool and video games. The kitchen had a slow cooker, coffee maker, and plenty of pots and pans. The main dining table easily seated our extended family. We’d stay here again!

My family and I have been staying in this part of Vermont each year for the past five years. This property is by far the best location we have stayed in. This year we stayed with a few other families — all of the adults and kids commented that they loved the property. The house itself is beautifully appointed with plenty of room for large groups. The owners are very communicative and responsive to the few questions we had before our stay. This place is excellent for families and we would certainly stay here again if given the opportunity.

We had a wonderful stay! The house was exactly as described — clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything we needed. The location was perfect and close to ski slope. The shuttle to and from the ski slope was very helpful and dependable. The host was responsive, friendly, and made check-in super easy. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others!

We had a big family with three generations staying and we had a lovely time. Plenty of room for everyone! Gorgeous views off the spacious deck, with lots of seating. Our grandchildren loved the basement game room, and we all loved having a hot tub! We all spent many happy nights cooking in the big kitchen. One thing to note is that the main living area is air conditioned; but individual bedrooms are not. It was not an issue other than for a couple of nights of very warm temperatures. (Heavy duty fans are provided for all bedrooms)

Jason was a wonderful host and gave us all the details leading up to the trip. He communicated a few updates as well that were great to have. The house was perfect for our group, 3 families with kids all under 10. We had some cold days while we were there and the house was incredibly comfortable for all. One recommendation I would give to future renters is to bring sandals to get from the house to the jacuzzi. It's only about 8 feet but the steps to the jacuzzi are surrounded by pebbles and when walking to and from (especially if your kiddos ask to be carried because it's so cold!) you want to have sandals getting in and out. We know where we'll look first when we book next year's ski trip!

My wife Cynda and I have been traveling to VT for many years, and we actually spent our first anniversary here on Bromley Mountain at a friend's home. We were fortunate enough to purchase our own place many years later within this mountain community. We have spent the past 8 winters up in VT on family ski trips, and it's become an incredible part of our lives. Our children Avery and Raven have grown up on the mountain and have a true appreciation for the outdoors as well. Over the past year we purchased and renovated our dream mountain home right here on Bromley Mountain as well. We are very honored to share our home with you and your family as well!

During the winter season enjoy shuttle access to the lift on Bromley, and on clear nights there are endless stars as far as you can see from the deck and patio! During the summer you have some of the best hiking in Southern VT right outside your front door.

The reason we purchased our new home here was absolutely for the expansive mountain views! This is why we call our home the Overlook! We also renovated our entire home with comfort in mind for large family gatherings. Four of the seven bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms, and there is plenty of room both inside and outside for your family to enjoy during any season!
