The home was exactly as depicted in the listing and made for a great stay. I especially enjoyed spending the evenings relaxing on both the front and back porches. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking for a place to stay in the area!

This house was perfect for our family weekend. It is two master suites with a central kitchen/ dining/ living room area. The water was so soft, it was like staying at a spa. We loved the quiet surroundings and peaceful feel of the property.

Easy to find and access, this was a charming stay for a quiet weekend. The house had everything we needed. We enjoyed sipping coffee on the porch and watching the goats and cows graze. Just wish we knew the dog’s name because he was a lovely, frequent visitor!

The place was very quiet and that was nice also clean but needs to get better sheets due to they kept sliding off at night and the mattress with the plastic on it was NOT comfortable! Also needs blinds in the guest bath because the window is wide open.

Property is exactly as described and host is quick to respond. One of my favorite parts of the stay was watching the morning "chicken run" while sipping coffee on the back porch. The rooster would wake them all up and then herd them through the gate and up the property's drive to scavenge for breakfast. I also got to see a bunny rabbit, goats, cows, and a beautiful large white dog. Very enjoyable stay!

This was the perfect home for me to stay at during my week in Bowie, it is a short drive from Bowie to this home. I was traveling alone so I only used the master bedroom and bath, the bed was very comfortable, and the bedroom is large and beautiful with a fireplace. The kitchen was well stocked with everything I needed for my stay, the exterior was beautiful and I enjoyed watching the livestock, and sitting outside in the evening, it is a wonderful place to de-stress and unwind! The host was easy to communicate with, everything from booking to the end of my stay was extremely easy, and I definitely will be staying there next time I am in Bowie.

Stayed one night while we were traveling back to west Texas. Very simple check-in process and the scenery was beautiful. Will definitely stay here again.

If you’re looking for authentic country style home, this is it. Cows, chickens, rabbits, and a dog right out the front door.
