We had an amazing time at the villa… there was 15 of us, including 4 children and we couldn’t have been more impressed. The staff were lovely and the meals cooked for us were delicious!!!

Amazing property, Beyond our expectations!!!

Property location was close to desirable clubs, staff were many and very helpful. We all felt very grateful to have found this place. We spent about a week for a buck’s and would return and have no hesitation in recommending others to go there.

We loved staying at Craig’s villa. It was our honeymoon and we were having a party with some close friends flying in from 5 countries. We had such a great time! The staff were very friendly and the location was great in Canggu. I would only note though that it is right next to Atlas beach club and they play music until 3am so it might not be best for very light sleepers. We didn’t have much problem as we tended to stay up late

I’m so glad you loved the property and enjoyed my staff customer service, many clients say this in their feedback. I’ve fed your comment back to the staff and they are so happy. I do select them carefully and train them well. Clients who stay here do enjoy the beachside location being next to both Atlas and Finns Beach Clubs along with all the amazing restaurants and cafes close by. Yes, my villa estate is ideal for large group celebrations. The private chef is amazing and can cater to all dietary tastes. Beautiful house, perfect location

The Villa is beautiful and conveniently located. The owner is fantastic to work with and the local staff in the villa is wonderful. Please note that the location is NOT Seminyak. Although we preferred Chenggu to Seminyak as it is less commercial and feels authentic, Villa Kaira is not in Seminyak. Seminyak is only a few miles away, but it will take you up to 45 minutes by car as traffic is terrible.

Bali Get Away

Communication with pick up and van size was a struggle from the start at the airport. It was all corrected and week went smoothly. Villa needed some upgrades and mold spots that were being fixed as we checked out. Location is perfect Nd is definitely stay here again. Staff, cooks and driver took care of my group of 11. Thank you!

Hi Tiffany Thank you for booking my villa estate and for taking the time to leave a review. I’m so glad you thought my villa location is perfect and in an excellent location! I’m very sorry for the miscommunication for the airport arrival, we do always send enough cars for all guests and luggage and offer multiple airport transfers at different times/days if required. We did receive conflicting arrival info last minute from your group which we tried to clarify with your group pre-arrival. We don’t normally have any issues with arrivals and departures but I apologise for you not being happy about what occurred. I always stress to clients how important it is for my tram to have the accurate info for each arrival. I’m so glad you thought my staff including cook and drivers took great care of your group, I do recruit and train my staff very carefully to ensure a very high service level for you, my clients! It would be lovely to welcome you back to this or one of my other villas and look forward to seeing you again soon. Best wishes Craig

Expectations exceeded

We stayed in the Villa for our Bali's stop during a more than three weeks long tour of Indonesia. The idea was to get a house big enough to accomodate the 12 of us, let us enjoy the beach life and take a break from other parts of the trips which required more traveling and less comfort. Villa Kaira made all this possible and even more. Five rooms are large and with their private bathrooms. The sixth is large too, but needs to use an outside bathroom, which was not a big deal for us. The pool looks right into the ocean which is literally few steps away, with many nice warungs and surf opportunities right there. The complimentary cards to access Finn's Club add more than just the access to their sport facility, as you can use them to enter the beach club to spend the day, take a drink, eat or just enjoy the sunset resting on their day beds. The staff of the Villa is very professional and we almost always ate at home after checking the chef cuisine on the first night. Excellent food and very reasonable prices. They have several menu options you can choose from, or you can discuss with them what you'd like and get it prepared. We organized one birthday party dinner with some serious Italian cooking and an early morning visit to the Jimbarao fish market and it was fun to share our recipes and have a team cooking night. Having a driver always available is also very convenient to move around the area and Henry, the Villa Manager, helped us organized a personalized trip to Ubud and the rice fields right north of town. Nice one day trip, but that was all for us, because we really wanted to rest and the Villa far exceeded positively our expectations for that.

Villa Kaira as amazing - the house and the property, the location, the staff - fabulous!

From a responsive owner, Craig Steeples, and villa manager, to an excellent cook, staff and driver, our stay at Villa Kaira was more than enjoyable. First, the house is amazing - 5 big bedrooms (two are overwater bungalows) with attached bathrooms (including 3 with outdoor showers), large living and dining areas and patios, and a beautiful, beautiful swimming pool. Location - right at the beach; 2 minute walk from the property. Close to dining. Complimentary tennis and swimming and water park too (and more) at Finn's Beach Club and Finn's Recreation Club made days exciting for kids and adults alike. Trips around Bali were arranged with help from staff and were great too. Cannot say enough about this property and the stay. The photos do not even do it justice! And the sunsets from the beach and the property were beautiful. Look forward to returning one day!

Great villa, awesome staff

This was the best experience that i have had in many years of renting via Homeaway. The photos do not do the place justice. The villa is spacious with lots of room, an excellent pool, and right on the beach. The bedrooms are all very big and well fixtured, including 2 stand alone suites that split each side of the walkway, surrounded by Koi ponds, as you walk towards the main house. The staff are even better than the villa, which takes some doing. Breakfast was cooked every morning, all the shopping done for the days that we wanted them to cook dinner, and the house staff always available but never intrusive. Add to that an extremely accommodating driver and SUV, and you have a great experience.
