We were promised a room with a view of the water but we got a view of the roof and street. I asked the clerk 3 times if we had a water view and she kept saying “yes” She lied. The hook on the bathroom door was broken and the closet door was stuck. On the plus side, the room was clean and the bed was comfortable.

The hotel had some staff that went above and beyond expectations. A few needed to work on their people skills. Hotel could use some sprucing up.

Don’t stay here! The lobby looks swanky, but it’s all an illusion. The hallways, rooms, carpets etc are in need of updating. My experience: Check in took forever because of something wrong with their system. After a 25 minute check in, we got to our room to find that the lock was broken. I called downstairs, and instead of giving us a different room, we had to stand there in the hallway waiting for maintenance to come and diagnose the problem. Then we had to wait for them to go get a new battery for the keypad. When we FINALLY got in the room, the air was broke. Lucky for us, the maintenance guy was already in our room fixing the lock, so he took care of the AC at the same time. Housekeeping cleaned our room 0 of two opportunities. Even after I called and said - hey, I think housekeeping missed us, could you send someone by our room? By that time housekeeping was closed (hours are 9-2) and the room couldn’t be cleaned. The same thing happened the next day. Unbelievable. Parking was another problem. Their main lot will fill up so you’ll be forced to park in the “2nd” parking lot which is not well lit and I swear to God, it’s where the homeless people gather for the night. So that felt great — two women, walking through a dark parking lot with no one around but a pack of homeless people parking their shopping carts and bikes, hanging their backpacks in the trees, and cracking open one last beer before bed. Good Lord.Do yourself a favor — stay somewhere else.
