A great experience surrounded by nature. It would be good if there was a TV or DVD to watch in front of the fireplace. Alternatively, it would be good if there were board games or some books to read at night.

Peaceful and relaxing

Lovely quiet spot in the rainforest, easy to access, well equipped, well located to explore waterfalls and beach.

Otways adventure base

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cabin was clean and tidy when we arrived. Communication from owner regarding check in was exact. Great base to explore all that the area has to offer.

Rainforest Getaway

Great spot tucked away in the woods to unwind, unplug and slow down. We took full advantage of its close proximity to the beach, Apollo Bay and great walks. Definitely recommend if looking to reconnect and go digital free.

We filled birdbath, and enjoyed visits from a variety of feathered friends, each am and pm. Stunning!

Great little cabin surrounded by forest!

We (family of 3) stayed at this property for 4 days over the new year holidays. The cabin provided a great retreat, nestled amongst a breathtaking array of trees and vegetation. The fittings and furniture were old, but well maintained and the beds were comfortable enough.We did not like the 10 min trip(each way) on a dirt road to get to and from the the main road. The humidity of the surrounding forest makes lighting a fire in the wood burner (challenging) so be prepared to relay on main heater as the place can get very cold, even during summer. Overall, a good experience for anyone who is looking for clean, affordable, well located accommodation around Apollo Bay's area. we and found it very impressive and

Girls Trip in Otways

A very lordish experience for all three of us. Could not recommend it highly enough, the place was lovely and clean and the surroundings were beautiful. Oliver was very helpful and very quick to respond.

Beautiful property nestled in the forest.

The owner was very easy to deal with and the cabin is old but beautiful. The perfect place to switch off. Our only gripe is that the photos of the rental are a little misleading. There are no ocean views and due to the landscape and the way the cabin is positioned, there isn't much room for kids to play outside safely. Regardless though, we would stay here again for a weekend away.

The photo in the website with the ocean view has a comment to say it’s five minutes walk from the house but will remove to avoid any confusion.
