I’m Bárbara, your host, and I want to warmly welcome you to this very special home. For 10 wonderful years we were incredibly happy here, creating memories, celebrating life, and filling every corner with good energy before starting our new adventure in Fuerteventura.

Casa Afrodita is not just any apartment. It’s a place with soul, with history, and with a lot of heart. Its name is a tribute to Afrodita, our Swiss Shepherd dog—an amazing companion who brought so much joy into our lives. When you arrive, you’ll see her photo at the entrance… it’s almost as if she were greeting you herself.

I love welcoming people and opening my home because every guest leaves a little piece of their energy behind and takes a little piece of ours with them. I truly enjoy traveling, cooking, discovering special places, and sharing stories; and I feel that each guest brings a new adventure along.

By opening the doors of Casa Afrodita to you, we are also opening the doors of our heart. Here you will find more than just a place to sleep: you’ll find a space that has been cared for, loved, and lived in. A small part of our story that we now offer to you with all our enthusiasm.

In the heart of one of the trendiest neighborhoods in Madrid, Carabanchel Bajo, recently chosen as the third coolest neighborhood in the world to live in by the prestigious New York magazine Time Out, in one of the most beautiful parks in the city, San Isidro, is our beautiful home "Casa Afrodita", in an unbeatable location.
Next to Madrid RIO, one of the walks along the river bank that runs through Madrid from the Casa de Campo to the famous Matadero cultural center through botanical paths, parks and picnic areas.
A spectacular 40-minute walk to the Casa de Campo walking through parks without hardly stepping on asphalt.

we are In the middle of one of the cultural hotbeds of the city, Madrid's “Brooklyn”, full of bars and art galleries and rehearsal venues.

Carabanchel is synonymous with art, culture and traditional and international essence.
We offer you to stay one step away from the most commercial and touristy Madrid, in the most authentic and traditional Madrid.

Located in the San Isidro Park area, just 6 metro stops from the historic center. Metro, bus, electric bikes (2 min away), or walk downtown in 35–40 min.
Our neighborhood was named the 3rd coolest in the world by Time Out NY, the “Brooklyn of Madrid”: cafés, restaurants, art spaces, and vibrant creative energy. Near Madrid Río, the riverwalk linking Casa de Campo and Matadero through parks and gardens 🌳.

Bright, spacious, and quiet, next to a huge park with fountains, lake, playgrounds, and skyline views. Perfect for families, couples or Friends Who look for space and relax in the city near the centre whitout the stress and noise. Metro line 5 is just 7 min walk.

🍴 Kitchen:
Fully equipped: stove, oven, fridge, Nespresso, microwave, toaster, dishwasher, utensils. Includes coffee, tea, spices, etc. Dining table for 6.

🛋 Living Room:
Large windows to patio and pool, 50” Smart TV, sofa bed.

🛏 Bedrooms:

Bedroom 1: Queen bed, memory foam, storage, en-suite bathroom access

Bedroom 2: Full bed, memory foam, storage, en-suite bathroom access

Full bathroom upstairs + powder room downstairs.
