Newly renovated, main floor one bedroom condo, fully equipped, air conditioning in the bedroom available for (fee $1.00BDS equaling .50US per hour), ceiling fans in the bedroom as well as in the living room and on the balcony, big screen TV with USB port and DVD player, high speed internet available in the condo, wheelchair and scooter friendly, maid service weekly, one set plus an extra set of bath and beach towels provided per week, should you wish another set they can be provided for a fee, steps to the pool from your balcony, beautiful landscaped grounds with lounge chairs under large mature trees, 24 hour security.
The bedroom is equipped with a comfortable king size bed with ample pillows, closet and drawer space as well as a dressing table with a blow dryer we provide and electrical outlet for curling/straightening irons that you may bring. An ironing board and iron are in the bedroom.

Another great stay

The rental property is well maintained, clean, well equiped and convenient. Communication was excellent. This was our second stay in this apartment, and our 6th at Golden View. This apartment is one of the better ones we have stayed in.

Gold star for Golden View

Karen and Chris were friendly, helpful and full of excellent information in advance of our stay. Anita, their housekeeper, was charming and efficient. The condo was very well equipped indeed and was spacious, clean and tidy. We had a little trouble with the door lock, but Anita came straightaway to see what the problem was, and got a locksmith to put a new lock on as soon as possible. The pool and garden of the condo building were beautifully maintained, with plenty of sunbeds, and there was a large parking area. It was good to have the aircon in the bedroom, but it did prove a little difficult to source the coins to use! I would have preferred aircon in the living area too, but I do appreciate that might be difficult to achieve. The condo is in an ideal spot - a lovely quiet residential area, but just minutes from shops and restaurants of all prices. We would definitely stay here again and will recommend to others.

Great apartment

Property was in very good condition and was well equipped with everything you could need. Also there was lots of beach equipment, chairs umbrella mask and flippers. Anita the property manager was just a phone call away for anything we needed help with . Golden View is ideally situated for easy access to Holetown. We would definitely stay here again .

A wonderful place to stay

The condo is well maintained with lots of little extras to make a stay pleasureable. The property manager, Anita, is extremely helpful and always contactable. The wifi is very good, and we enjoyed watching movies some evenings on HBO which is available in the condo.

10 Day winter sun break

Lovely property in an excellent location, the hosts were really friendly & helpful with directions and local area info. The condo was very well equipped with everything you could want from beach furniture & snorkel to packed lunch boxes and cool box (trolley). The kitchen had every utensil, pot and pan if you wanted to cook and unlike many holiday lets they were in nice condition. The condo has a nice community feel and the pool was well maintained and cleaned daily if you fancied a break from the beach. There was also access to a beach club area 5 min walk or 10 min stroll down the hill. The Sandy Lane golf club is just the other side of the road and ideal for a scenic walk or run in the morning before it gats too hot! Overall a great place for an uncomplicated holiday in the sun, highly recommended

Well Chilled !

We had a super time in Barbados and the apartment was a big part of that. The apartment manager met us and explained how everything worked and also showed us how to maximise the airflow through the apartment to keep it cool. That tip was so good that we did not need to use the air con at all. Being ground floor it was great to be able to wander into the garden from the terrace area, rather than have to take the stairs or lift. The apartment was just what we wanted so it suited us perfectly. It was also in a great location within easy reach of Hometown's bars and restaurants. We took your advice about some of the restaurants and bars to use. We did Just Grillin' as you suggested for our first night and also tried the food truck at Paynes Bay Fish Market - the fish cutters were excellent. The Fishermans pub in Speightstown was good for a cold drink. We also used Cafe Carizma in the Chattel Village and the Mews on 2nd street as well as Surfside on the beach - great for the sunsets. All in all it was an excellent holiday and great apartment - so we were well chilled by the end of it.

Lovely Apartment in a good location

We had another great stay at this apartment - it ticks all the boxes for us - Well equipped kitchen, comfortable bed and Anita our cleaner was lovely and very helpful. The apartment is in a good location with secure grounds and swimming pool, close to beach, Limegrove shopping mall and supermarket. Apartment also has access to Beach House Club. Communication with the owners is very good - would definitely recommend this apartment.

Home from home in paradise

This was our second stay at this excellent apartment and hopefully won't be our last. We have stayed in 4 apartments in Goldenview and this is our favourite. This is a perfect place to experience Barbados, not only is the apartment refurbished as we would have our own place, it is set in lovely secure grounds not far from the beach and all that Holetown has to offer. The hosts were great communicating with us especially around the covid challenges we all face at the moment. Thanks Chris and Karen

Golden View

We have just returned from our stay at Chris and Karen's apartment at Golden View and had a great holiday. Golden View is set about a 10min walk back from the central seafront at Holetown. Which for us was ideal as it is away from the busy coastal road. Beaches are good all along this part of the coast. The apartments are privately owned and so the site in generally kept in very good condition. The gardens are lovely and very quiet and peaceful. The pool is great for a cooling dip. The on site restaurant is a Chinese which you can dine in or get a takeaway. They also do a poolside bar service. We tried it once and the food was OK. The apartment itself is very clean and tidy and well stocked with everything you might need from a holiday rental. Being a ground floor unit and just across the grass to the pool was great. Chris and Karen were very helpful with the booking process and quickly responded to any questions we had. Overall a great apartment in a great location. We would definitely go back again. Thank you so much Chris and Karen.

Delightful apartment

As we have stayed in Golden View, but not this apartment, we knew the system. However if we had been new guests, we would have been at a loss as we had no contact with a property manager. There is plenty of written instructions but naturally certain things are better explained face to face, i.e. TV, air conditioning, security etc. The apartment has been renovated to a high standard. The kitchen/sitting room is beautiful. The patio is like an extra room with the dining room table . All the crockery etc is to a very high standard and plenty of it. Thank you, a delightful holiday.

Fabulous apartment in the perfect location.

The whole process of renting this apartment was very easy even when we had some personal problems which meant we had to move our travel dates, Karen was very accommodating in making sure we were happy with the changes. When we arrived at the apartment it was immaculate! It had everything needed to make our stay a home from home experience. We would not hesitate in recommending this apartment and if we had to score it out of 10 we would give it a 10!

Lovely property in a sunny location

The property is absolutely wonderful. It is just as described in the listing, but far bigger than expected and better equipped than most properties we have stayed in. The location couldn’t be better, just a short stroll to the beach and all amenities, bars, restaurants, shops etc. The apartment has one of the best locations on the complex, a step into the beautifully maintained gardens and only yards from the pool side. The spacious terrace gets the afternoon sun and pool side you can sit in the sun all day long. We particularly loved the evenings, sitting on the terrace gazing across the pool and people watching in the restaurant opposite the apartment. But don’t worry the restaurant is very quiet with no loud music to disturb the blissful Barbados evenings. We couldn’t fault the communication with Karen; it was first class from start to finish. Our only recommendation would be to put the name on the Condominium on the listing as Golden View isn’t mentioned and it may confuse some people when trying to find the property. All in all it was a fantastic holiday in a first class property which is a credit to the owners. We definitely aim to return and just hope that the apartment is free. Patrick and Ceri - UK

Great property in a great location.

Lovely apartment on a great complex. Very well equipped with everything you could possibly need. It was spotlessly clean throughout. Very close to all of Holetowns wonderful beaches, shops and restaurants. Would highly recommend this property to anyone looking to stay in the area.

Awesome Property!!!

We had a great week long stay at this property in Barbados! We loved that it was on the ground floor and just a walk out to a large swimming pool which we took advantage of EVERY morning. Make sure you bring Barbados dollar coins if you want any extra air conditioning, the hosts left us some to get started, where we used an hour to get the bedroom cooled down before bedding down. They also left us a couple of Banks beers which went down very nicely after a long flight and tracking down the location initially. Parking our rental car was a breeze as the parking lot was quite empty. the property is very close to a big supermarket where you can get whatever you need. The communication with the host, Karen was way above what we expected and helped us out a lot. This was our first VRBO experience and it was exceptional!! Doug & Trina

Fabulous, well equipped, ground floor apartment in lovely, quiet complex.

Great apartment in Sunset Crest. Part of a complex of similar apartments, all well maintained with great outdoor space - gardens and pool surrounded by plenty of sunbeds and areas of shade. Karen and Chris's apartment is on the ground floor with direct access to the gardens/pool etc. It had two sun loungers for our personal use, and a table and chairs on the veranda for lunch. The lounge/kitchen/diner is open plan and very well equipped for self catering - lots of crockery, cutlery, glassware and cooking utensils and a huge fridge freezer. In the bedroom there was plenty of hanging space and cupboards. The bed was very comfortable with clean crisp linen and towels provided. The bathroom had a constant supply of hot water and excellent shower. Plenty of parking spaces for hired cars, but only 10 minute walk to a very large supermarket and 15 minutes walk into the centre of Holetown where there is a great selection of bars and restaurants. On site there is a pool bar that is also an excellent Chinese restaurant, popular with guests, locals and other tourists. There are also washing machines and driers in the complex for the use of all residents. We will definitely recommend this apartment to family and friends and look forward to returning in the near future.

We are a couple both working in the hospitality industry so we strive to give our guests the same experience we would expect on vacation. Karen, was born in Canada while Chris was born in Barbados. We currently reside in Canada but spend time at our home in Barbados whenever we can.

This is our home and we absolutely love it! Chris grew up in Barbados and Karen has traveled there with her parents since she was a small child. Some of my, karen's, fondest childhood memories are of playing on the beach just at the bottom of our street, with my cousins, watching as one or all of us tried to get up on water skis, not always very successfully and later racing one another on jet skis. We are all a little older now but it is still always great when we can experience Barbados and ALL that it offers!

The proximity of the condo to the Sunset Crest Beach Club and the lovely events it holds throughout the season offers an opportunity to participate in the community and its residents and have some fun at the same time. Situated on the beautiful west coast, where one can enjoy the best sunset views on the island, there are many restaurants and bars to do just that! But if you prefer a more private, quiet place to enjoy on your own or with your loved one that too is available in abundance. The sea from the west coast is also the most amazing, gorgeous water to swim in and to explore at your leisure. There are so many beaches to choose from, whether you want to hang out or snorkel or walk or just swim the choices are many!! The shopping in our neighbourhood is unparalleled on the island. A short walking distance away is the Limegrove shopping center, it boasts some amazing high end shops as well as the Lime Bar at its center which hosts nights of music and fun. Limegrove holds the only movie theater on the west coast. On the rooftop of the complex is a restaurant with a fantastic menu and great ambience!
There are also many Chattel house boutiques in the area, showcasing the designs of local and imported talent. All of this is within walking distance of the condo.
