This delightful house comes fully furnished, equipped with everything you will need in your home away from home. Large outdoor patio area with outdoor furniture, neat gardens, front and side veranda's also with outdoor furniture and plenty of off street parking. Lovely, peaceful outlook. Just ideal as a weekender or for longer stays. Suite Workers, families or just about anyone wanting a peaceful lovely place to stay. York Stay

Kerry was very prompt and friendly to communicate with , the York house was in a perfect location and a beautifully presented Cottage. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for accommodation in York .

York Weekender

Layout is good, a 20 minute stroll into the town centre, close to Mt Brown worth the effort for a beautiful sunset. In need of a good spring clean, the basics were fine just don't look too close. Only the very basics supplied in the kitchen. Yard needs some TLC.

Three day trip to York

Three bedroom house in York. The beds were good. Nice starched sheets. House was relatively clean inside. The outdoor furniture and verandah needed a clean . There wasn’t any detergent to do the dishes or wash your clothes . The basics were provided such as tea and coffee . The lamps only worked on one side of the bed. We enjoyed our stay in York .

Overpriced for what it is

This property is a 2 kilometre walk into town despite it being advertised as a short stroll which was disappointing and misleading for us as we wanted to be close to town, and we paid a lot of money for two nights which was grossly overpriced for the property which was very basic. There are lots of other much more appropriately priced places to stay in York. The backyard was just sand so there wasn’t even anywhere nice to sit and enjoy the property, including no fireplace inside or outside or any bath. Disappointed.

Very clean and comfortable

This was a lovely property. The house was well looked after, nicely decorated and absolutely spotless. Comfortable beds, good shower, simple check-in/check-out process. Also enjoyed the 20 min stroll to town via the Avon River.

We stayed 2 nights and used York as a steppingstone to Wave Rock etc. house was perfect for my family and close to the Main Street in Town. Would recommend!!

Delighful Cottage!

We had a fabulous stay! Cottage is beautifully restored, comfortable, and equipped with everything you need. The amenities were good and the cottage was very clean. The host Kerry was very helpful and the little thoughtful details were appreciated. One of the guests in our group had family ties to the previous owner of the cottage and was delighted to see how the cottage had been renovated. Would recommend to friends and family and would definitely love to stay again.

Gorgeous holiday home!

Loved Percy's Cottage. It epitomises York in every possible way. Great location and close to all of York's treasures. It really is like home away from home. Kerry, was absolutely delightful and easy to liaise with. Will definitely recommend to friends and family and look forward to another stay.

Great place to stay has everything you need.

We had a great stay. I would like to let you know Kerry only thing we thought you need to know is the shower floor is quite slippery maybe you could get a non slip mat to put into shower. Thanks for letting us use your beautiful house would recommend it if anyone asked for somewhere to stay in York. Rhona

My family and I moved to York in 1968 I went to York Primary School and then on to York Senior High School. I left York when I was 16 years old. I returned to York and purchased The Nosh & Nod - Avon Terrace (Accommodation Units) in 2010. I am proud to call York my home.

Por qué eligió esta propiedad

I chose to buy the property as it was the house in the street needing the most work and would give me a great challenge. The last owner, Percy was in his 90's when he moved from what was then his home. I lovingly restored it and named it after him.
