Welcome to The Grand Gathering Place, a spacious five-bedroom retreat designed for families, friends, teams, business travelers, retreats, and groups of up to 20 guests.

Located on a quiet, family-friendly cul-de-sac in Northwest Indiana, the home offers a peaceful place to relax while keeping you close to many of the area’s most popular attractions. Enjoy convenient access to Hard Rock Casino Northern Indiana, Hard Rock Cafe, live entertainment, restaurants, shopping, movie theaters, bowling, water parks, and other family-friendly activities.

Planning a day trip? Downtown Chicago is within easy driving distance, while Indiana Dunes National Park, Lake Michigan beaches, Portage-area attractions, and other outdoor destinations are also nearby. After exploring Chicago, attending a concert, visiting the beach, or enjoying Northwest Indiana, you can return to the comfort and tranquility of your home away from home.

Inside, guests will find generous living space and several places to gather without feeling crowded. The home features a comfortable living and dining area, a separate family room and game room, a large dining space, comfortable bedrooms, and a fully equipped kitchen where everyone can cook, eat, and spend quality time together.

The dedicated game room provides entertainment for children, teens, and adults, with pool, air hockey, foosball, ping-pong, arcade-style basketball, board games, and other family-friendly activities. There is plenty of room for some guests to relax while others enjoy the games and entertainment.

Step outside and enjoy even more space to unwind. Begin your morning with breakfast or coffee beneath the beautiful front gazebo while enjoying the sunrise. Cheri the host went above and beyond the call of duty. She made sure we had everything needed which for me was the coffee but kids loved the popcorn and other snacks. Super comfy for our stay for my mother’s funeral. Little blessings like books bottled water and plenty of blankets and pillows…

I truly enjoy caring for people and serving others. From the spacious indoor gathering areas and family-friendly game room to the peaceful gazebo and backyard fire pit, every part of the home was designed with connection, comfort, and togetherness in mind.

My goal is simple: when you stay at The Grand Gathering Place, I want you to feel welcomed, comfortable, and at home. It is an honor to host each group, and I hope this home becomes a meaningful and memorable part of your visit to Northwest Indiana.
