Adorable condo in a great location!

Our condo was exactly as advertised, adorable and pleasant to stay in. Walking distance to lots of shopping, restaurants & the beach! We spent a lot of time in the pool and down at the sand.

Wonderful place.

Lovely place, close to everything, walking distance to shops, restaurants and beach. All our neighbours were so friendly. Lovely condo, everything we needed. Will certainly return.

I cannot say enough about how beautiful this place is. The grounds are covered with plants and flowers, stone walkways and refreshing pools. Our unit was perfect- the layout is great for two people. The full kitchen made cooking easy. The master bedroom stays cool with the fans and short stents of running the AC. The bed is comfortable with nightstands and plugins right next to it. Plenty of closet space for all your clothes. Our hosts kept in touch throughout our stay, making sure we had all that we needed. Checking in and checking out was a breeze with detailed messages on how to do everything. It’s a short walk to restaurants and shopping. 10 stars for our stay here.

Great location

Easy walking to everything….lovely beaches, restaurants, markets, fruits and veggies, pharmacy. Owner and manager are very responsive. Nicely decorated, well-equipped kitchen. If you like hot, tropical ….this is for you!

Wonderful!

The unit was so lovely, Vanessa was so helpful and friendly, and we just had a wonderful stay. The bed was very comfortable in the air conditioned bedroom, which made for a very restful sleep. The location is perfect with coffee and restaurants just around the corner. We will definitely be returning.

Nice clean and secure complex.

Nice condo in a handy location close to town, although a little noisey. Mexicans love their celebrations! The open air living was great, and the two pools were a welcome relief from the Zihuatanejo heat.

loved the property but i do feel that the table and bbq area could use a good cleaning and make it more inviting to sit in that area.

Comfy oasis in great location !

From the very beginning the communication with the owners and the reception from the manager upon arrival was excellent. This place is very private, secure and in an excellent location close to the beach, shopping, restaurants and the taxis are directly across the street. Perfect for 2 people in a tropical setting with 2 nice pools. Completly equipped, including a nice Bose bluetooth stereo. Ive been to Zihua many times and i give this place 2 thumbs up recommendation !

Relaxing Get-a-way

Shelley’s place is wonderful! Clean and comfortable in the heart of the Madera district. Just a few blocks from the beach. Amazing restaurants around every corner of the La Ceiba complex. Shelley was very helpful before and during our stay. She gave excellent recommendations for a variety of attractions. Her property manager, Vanessa, was attentive and willing to assist us at a moments notice. We would love to return for a future vacation! Shelley’s place is highly recommended!

Love the location, very close to everything.

The only downside was that they were working on a roof right outside The unit. It wasn’t full-time but a little distractive, and not very private at that time.

Excellent communication with host. Very good location with easy access to everything. Place very clean. Note AC only in bedroom. Highly recommend it but be aware if weather is very hot the apartment will be very hot as well. I would definitely stay at this place again but not in the peak of summer.

We loved the place, very comfy, beautiful gardens and great pool.

Absolutely perfect location, friendly residents & staff. Great neighborhood. Liked the open air feel. The ninja professional blender was terrific and we had many delicious fresh fruit smoothies. Only glitch was the bedroom toilet which was running. Needs to be fixed. We ran out of water once because if it. We would definitely stay again & recommend to others.

This apartment was amazing; I can honestly say this flat felt like home. Everything we needed was here: towels for pool, beach chairs and umbrellas, lilos for the pool, every utensil and dishes galore. A pack of coffee in the fridge. The area is safe, and the complex is quiet, full of trees, and 2 clean pools. Many great restaurants 5 min walk away. The communication with the owner was outstanding: prompt, helpful, and full of great tips.We will be coming back right to this condo. There was even shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Fresh, filtered water in a cooler, and it is replaced as you use it. Supermarket 10 min walk along bike path, and take a cab back if you want. The town is designated a Magic Town because of the lovely architecture. Air co in bedroom works very well. Open air dining is lovely. I have nothing negative to say.

Absolute paradise!

What a wonderful condo at a beautiful price! We cannot recommend this highly enough! Very close to restaurants, the beach, and shopping in a safe and secure complex within a great neighborhood. The condo was exquisitly decorated and extremely clean. The owners have provided many extras to make their unit more comfortable. The management and maintenance people couldn’t be more helpful and we also appreciated two pools for when we wanted time in the adult pool. We will be back and truly appreciate the helpfulness of the owner regarding our questions when booking travel. This is for sure a five-star condominium !

Wonderful complex, spacious unit!

My husband and I stayed at this great condo for a full week and didn't want to go home! LaCeiba Suites is about a three minute walk to the beach and to the shops...we felt welcome by the superior staff and met some really nice people staying there as well. Each morning we enjoyed our coffee on the balcony overlooking the pool. Everyday, we swam in one of the two pools and enjoyed the wonderful, tropical feel of the well manicured grounds. In the evening, we walked to the beach and sampled the delicious seafood restaurants as we watched the sunset. Zihuatenejo has a very welcoming feeling, our vacation was very special because our stay at this clean and well maintained condo was such a great experience. We will definitely be back!

Paradise

Casa Almendro quickly became our home away from home! Meeting Shelly the owner, upon our arrival, made us feel so welcome! The pools, tropical plantation, staff and friendly neighbours make this a very desirable location. The condo is spacious, clean and very beautifully decorated. Shelly and Don have paid great attention to details to every part of the unit. We loved the two open spaces and enjoyed many game nights out there. And the cozy King bed always felt so comfortable after our days in the warm sun! A perfect location for shopping, beaches and eating out! Great selection of restaurants near by. A real gem of a place to enjoy all the wonderful things Zihuatanejo has to offer. Pure Paradise! Looking forward to returning soon! Gracias!

Fantastic!!

We just returned from a fantastic 3 week stay at Casa Almendro. We are so in love with the convenient location of this condo in the Madera area. No taxi needed as we could walk to our destinations but taxis were plentiful if needed. It is always a delight to reunite with good friends we have met over the years while coming down to Zihuatanejo. We had numerous delicious meals, several just within a couple minutes walk from the condo. Highlights for us are the abundant fresh fruits, vegetables and seafood. The dorado was on while we were there which is one of our favorite meals grilled simply with garlic. Vanessa, Casa Almendro Manager, is a gem and always helpful and responsive when anything was needed. Great vacation destination!

Lovely condo in a very pretty complex within walking distance to beaches, restaurants and shops

We had a wonderful relaxing week at Casa Almendro at Ceiba Suites. The condo is very comfortable with inviting balconies where you can relax and read or just listen to the birds and enjoy the tropical plants surrounding the two lovely pools. With shops, restaurants, and beaches so close we were able walk everywhere. We only took a cab once and that was to La Perla restaurant on Playa La Ropa. There we spent the day under a palapa reading, having refreshments and food, enjoying the ocean breezes, and watching the friendly local families having a great time. Shelley is very easy to work with and very responsive to our enquiries. Vanessa, the property manager, is so sweet and helpful. We really enjoyed Zihuatanejo, more than other Mexican vacation spots that we have visited, and Ceiba Suites is the nicest place that we have stayed at in Mexico. This was our first time in Zihua and would love to come back and stay longer. Thank you for making our first visit so restful.

Gojo

Casa Almendro was our holiday haven for 3 wonderful weeks during the May off season.The VRBO descriptions and reviews of this unit are all exactly as stated.The location is so ideal for everything from beaches ,grocery shopping, restaurants ,markets,the town basketball court etc.,all easy walks.We were able to work out at a nearby gym for only $20 /month.The weather was great ,although quite humid,luckily the bedroom had A/C for easier sleeping. The complex having 2 pools is nice,though during our stay ,we were basically the only people using them.We appreciated the very well stocked kitchen,the open spacious plan of the unit ,as well as all the bedroom storage and the in unit safe.Dealing with Shelley the owner ,and Vanessa,her on site manager and the La Cieba staff,was easy and professional .In all this was a wonderful holiday experience for us .

Second visit as great as the first!

This is a perfect unit for two people. It is clean, spacious, private (second floor corner unit) and well-equipped. The grounds are lush and well-maintained, and it is within walking distance to many restaurants and the downtown. La Ropa Beach is a short bus or taxi ride away, and it is a beautiful place to spend time relaxing, walking or enjoying the surf. This was our second stay at La Cieba, and we enjoyed it as much as the first. It is a hidden gem and worth considering if you are looking for a truly Mexican holiday. The people who live in Zihuatanejo are extremely friendly and helpful, but brush up on your Spanish if you want to make your stay even more enjoyable. Last year our visit coincided with Easter and the city was pretty crowded with families on holiday. This year we arrived before Easter, and the city and beaches were fairly deserted until Palm Sunday. Shelley is great to work with; she responds promptly throughout the rental process. Everything is right about this place including the price!
