BEWARE!! This property is not ready for guests, the listing is inaccurate, and communication with the host was frustrating and non-existent unless I contacted them first. Response time was hours or the next day. The listing boasts about the private pool, but makes no mention that the pool is seasonal. The pool was the sole reason we booked this property. Despite the host telling us the night before check-in that it wasn’t scheduled to be open until 4/1, they said it just needed to be vacuumed (not true) and they would get it ready for us during our stay. I was only given updates if I asked and I eventually requested a partial refund for being misled and having no usable pool. I was told there would be no refund since they told us before we checked in that the pool wasn’t ready and we chose to stay anyway. There were small pebbles on the floor in several rooms, I found a fingernail on the couch, the dishwasher wasn’t hooked up, nor was the water/ice in the fridge. I was given no check-in instructions, so I searched all over the outside of the house to find the lock box and key. We were given one key for our group of 3 adults, which was very inconvenient. I asked if we were supposed to have more keys and was initially told we should have one key per guest, then was later told we just get one key to share. A door code would be a very easy solution and would feel more safe than the thought of keys being copied and used by other people. Pest control is needed - lots of spiders.
