With more than 300 days of sunshine a year and a mild climate, we would like to welcome you to your farm holiday in the Meran region and surroundings. The mountain village of Verano is located at an altitude of 1,200 metres on the sunny high plateau of the Tschögglberges, which is the central mountain ridge between Bozen and Meran. The Greif family welcomes you to the idyllic Boznermüllerhof in Vöran-Verano. The holiday apartment has been comfortably furnished by your hosts with a great love for detail. The apartment consists of a living room, a well equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, 3 bedrooms (two double bedrooms and one with 2 single beds) and a bathroom and can therefore accommodate 6 people. Additional amenities include Wi-Fi, a washing machine, a TV, a cot and a high chair. Start your day on the balcony while you enjoy the breathtaking view, play a game of table tennis or use the barbecue in the garden, which is shared with the other guests.The nearest restaurant and bar is within 30 minutes walking distance (1 km), and a supermarket within 5 minutes by car (3 km).
Beautiful hiking trails lead you to the Stoanernen Mandlen and to the Vöraner Alm. At the Knottenkino in Vöran you can enjoy a wonderful view of the Meran basin, the Adige valley to the Brenta group in Trentino, the Ulten valley and in the west the Texel group. With the South Tyrolean capital of Bozen and the thermal city of Meran, attractive destinations can be reached quickly from the apartment. In the winter months the ski area Meran 2000 attracts with 40 km of slopes, cross-country ski runs and sledge runs. The mountain roller coaster Alpine Bob Meran is open all year round and offers lots of fun for young and old.
There is a horse stable nearby, where also children can go for a ride. You can find both indoor and outdoor swimming pools (in summer) in Meran, Schenna, Algund and Lana, all within 20 km.
Numerous animals are at home on the farm. Cattle, horses, chickens, sheep and ducks live here in peaceful harmony with rabbits, cats and a dog. Enjoy the fresh air and the smell of the meadows and the forest while you spend your holiday on our farm in Vöran.
The Merancard is currently still valid until 30 June 2020. There is a daily bread service except on Sundays; a breakfast basket can be brought to the apartment upon request. The local tourism association offers weekly guided hiking tours, informs you about culinary highlights or interesting facts about the Haflinger horse. The homeowner also informs guests about these events.
