3-bedroom house in the country - close to hunting, fishing, exploring
Your cozy getaway awaits you. Nestled just off of US-400, making it easy to get to where you need to go but also the feel of being in the country. With three bedrooms - there’s plenty of space for everyone to relax. Guests enjoy two bathrooms, each equipped with a bathtub and shower for added comfort. The house stays comfortable year-round with heating and air conditioning. Whether you’re unwinding after a day of exploring or watching the sunrise on the porch enjoying a hot cup of coffee, this perfect retreat offers a peaceful and inviting atmosphere.
The kitchen is equipped with a propane stove/oven. Ample amount of counterspace to prepare a gourmet meal. You will find all of the necessities for cooking. Including a coffee pot, toaster, paper towels, and dish soap.
Each bedroom has its own smart TV, extra pillows, closet space/hanging, ceiling fans, and a laundry hamper.
Bathrooms are fully stocked with towels, shampoo, hand soap, and toilet paper.
A washer and Dryer are available for your use with detergent and dryer sheets.
Outside of the home there is a fence that covers the entire property. On the front porch you can enjoy the rocking chairs. There is a boot scrapper, bench, and hooks for hanging your gear/jackets. In the back yard you can enjoy the serenity of privacy, a fire pit, and even sometimes on a quiet night you can hear the oil wells pumping.
This house is in a great location surrounded by ample of opportunity in all directions around it.

2.5 mile drive from Camp 400 (wedding venue)
5 mile drive to McCune (Farm to Market - groceries/restaurant/venue)
10 mile drive to Parsons (Walmart, Ace Hardware, Bomgaars, Katy Golf Course, Shop & Dine Historic Parsons)
15 mile drive to Big Brutus & Museum (the worlds largest electric shovel!)
15 mile drive into the Mined Land Wildlife area - where you will find old mined strip pits that are managed for sport fishing, supporting more than ten different species, among them largemouth bass, walleye, bluegill, bullhead and rainbow trout. On land there’s a range of different habitats primed for activities like hunting, hiking, wildlife watching, and mushroom/berry picking.
18 mile drive to the Heartland Railroad Museum
27 mile drive to Pittsburg (Downtown shopping & Dining, Kansas Crossing Casino)

After years of discussion we decided to purchase a home that we can take our children to that has ample yard space to explore! We love the home and neighborhood so much, that we wanted to be able to share it with others.
