In the attic of the old sheep barn, a single, 70 m² loft space opens up unexpectedly. There’s more than enough room here for living and working; Wi-Fi and high-speed internet are already set up. The eye-catcher is the large, round south-facing window overlooking the castle meadow. To the west, the space opens onto a massive wooden balcony—the perfect spot for breakfast (or a sundowner with a view of the forest edge). There’s also cozy underfloor heating and hearty warmth from the charming stove with its baked-apple tray.
We aim to fulfill our desire for an authentic atmosphere by using environmentally friendly materials and taking a creative approach to history and art. So, the construction features wood, stone, clay, and linoleum. We like to think you can feel it. We’ve even deliberately left a few love notes from the village youth scrawled on the beams. We believe that art lies, above all, in the eye of the beholder.
You should be prepared for the fact that the cottage is located in a small, enchanted village on the edge of the forest, where you can hear, see, and even greet geese, dogs, jays, hedgehogs, ladybugs, deer, and all sorts of other creatures. We cannot and do not want to offer a sterile, clinical city atmosphere.
We have deliberately chosen not to include a TV. However, the free Wi-Fi is a great substitute.
The designer sofa can be transformed into a super-comfortable second bed.
The skylight with blinds is operated via touchscreen and allows for cross-ventilation, ensuring the cottage has a very pleasant living environment.
