Perfect for Families- 2 bedroom in the heart of West End
The condo is located in Sunset Villas, also known as West End Resort, a quiet safe neighborhood in West End.
The condo is a two bedroom, one bathroom ground floor condo. The condo was renovated in November of 2022 and has all new living room furniture, the most energy efficient AC units available on the island, and kitchen appliances. The inside living area of the condo is square feet plus a 100 square foot balcony. It has a large kitchen, breakfast bar, dining table, and living area all in one big open space. The living room has a large sofa and love seat. The sofa pulls out to a full sized bed. The second bedroom is quite a large room as well and a full bed. The bathroom is accessible from the living room and the bedroom. There is also a washer and dryer. The balcony also has a loveseat, massive ottoman, dining table and chairs, and a gas grill. The enormous master bedroom has a King bed.
The condo also comes with access to the fantastic pools at Sunset Villas which are about a 45 second walk from the condo.
To ensure the property is thoroughly disinfected between rentals, we use alcohol and disinfectant on all feasible surfaces. Sheets, towels, blankets, and couch cushion and pillow covers (when removeable) are washed twice between each rental and dried in the sun or at high temperatures in the dryer. Smaller items that cannot be washed are also put in the sunlight.
According to a scientific study at National Biodefense Analysis and Countermeasures Center in Maryland, COVID-19 can only live in humid dark areas for a maximum of 6 hours and in sunlight for a maximum of two minutes. Accordingly, all windows and doors are opened between rentals to allow for fresh humid air and sunlight to enter the property. The cleaning staff wears a mask while in the units and a contactless check-in option is available if guests desire.
Additionally, if you have to cancel your reservation due to COVID-19, your payment will be fully refunded.
The living room has a sofa and love seat and a flat screen TV with DVD and Cable. The balcony also has a hammock and a tables and chairs. The master bedroom has a King bed . The second bedroom is quite large and has a Queen and a Twin. The bathroom is accessible from the living room and the master bedroom. There is also a washer and dryer. The balcony also has a sitting area and a hammock perfect for relaxing with a cold beverage after a long day at the beach.

ELECTRICITY IS NOT INCLUDED IN THE RENTAL PRICE.
As part of our rental service, we can arrange for anything and everything you want to do while on the island. We have lived here for over 15 years and know everything about everything on Roatan.
Internet is unlimited high speed (for Honduras!).
We do not include electricity in the rental price. We include an electricity allowance that covers the use of the fans, fridge, and hot water heater. But instead of charging fees for laundry, A/C , extra people, and so forth, it is easier and fairer to charge for electricity instead. We read the meter at check-in and check-out and use the previous month's bill to determine the rate. We found that including electricity in the price made people want to get their money's worth by leaving the A/Cs constantly on at full blast and every light in the place on. Not only is it eco unfriendly, it meant we had to tack on an extra $270 / week to the rental rate.
We are also an eco-friendly and community involved rental property. We do as much as we can to reduce our environmental footprint. We have super energy efficient ACs and hot water heaters. We use all natural, cleaning products when possible; cut down on plastic waste; have recycling and composting available for renters; support local NGOs that work on environmental and coral reef conservation; and provide eco tips and advice for guests while they are on the island. In addition to donations we make, our guests support several island charity groups including animal rescue groups, child development groups, and environmental groups by a small fee added to each rental.

I have lived in a small town in Louisiana near the Mississippi river for the last 30 years.

I found the island of Roatan several years back and decided it is where I want to retire. I found this fantastic condo last year and bought it immediately. The location is the bes feature though the pool is a close second.

I like everything about the place. I like the location, I like that it is part of a community and a resort so there are always new and interesting people around while not being crowded. You can walk 1 minute into West End and find beaches, bars, restaurants, and diving or take a boat to West Bay to relax on one of the best beaches in the Caribbean.
