Booking was smooth and the host was responsive when we reached out with questions. The location was nice and having two labeled parking spots was convenient. We had a pleasant stay overall.It seemed like this may have been one of their first bookings, so there were just a few small things that could help future guests. Providing the house number and entry instructions ahead of arrival would be helpful, and there were a few minor maintenance and cleaning items that likely just need attention as they continue getting things dialed in.The location is great and the property offers a comfortable stay. With a few small adjustments, it will be even better for future guests.

This property was totally misleading, the home looked nothing like the photos. Hardly anything in the kitchen, a lifetime table as the kitchen table. The beds were horrible. The house was not clean at all, there were blood spots on the wall the bathrooms were disgusting. The carpet was filthy, we got poked by the tack strip because the carpet was falling apart in places. I feel like this was a step below a trap house.

Its so wired that someone like you complaining. Even though most of the review are good but not yours. At the same time you left your trash everywhere. Food at the counter with butter melted everywhere. Food leftover in the fridge . Left the front door unlocked. I understand when a clean person complaining but not someone like you. The place is way above your standard from what i saw after staying 1 or 2 night i can imagine the place you live in .

Our experience was not pleasant. The home smelled of pets and triggered allergies. The bathrooms were gross and not properly stocked. There was hair and grimy caulk along the bathroom floor. No hand towels, no bath mat, the towels that were provided were used and stained. There was a smoke detector that was beeping, and lights flickering in the living room. We did not stay the night and got a hotel room for the trip. I requested a refund from vrbo, and after viewing the pictures they agreed and provided a partial refund. The host did offer to change the smoke alarm battery and light bulbs, but by that point we had moved to the hotel room.

We are very sorry that your stay was not as supposed to be. We are doing our best to address any issues.but rest assure that all furniture. Towels . Bed sheets . Etc was brand new never been used . .. small stain in a carpet that means nothing . And you should focus on value stuff that was provided..

This appeared to be a new listing. It was an older property and advertised to house 9 people. However there was only 4 place setting which included silverware. There was no dish towels, no hot pad, no drinking glasses, and no over mitts. There wasn’t any baking pans. All the towels still had stickers on them and had not been washed. There was no broom or vacuum. There were two queen beds and two twin beds. Not enough for our 7 well enough 9. There was a camp table for the kitchen table with three bar stools. Which was not convenient or workable. We made it work, but felt like we were the first rental and it wasn’t ready. The carpet was dirty and had exposed tack strip between kitchen and living room. Which snagged peoples feet.

It was my mistake not to cancel your booking . . And with tbis huge number of people you are basically paying nothing and still complaining. .. happy not to host you again . Your kids destroyed the place .

The property worked for our one night stay. 2 parking stalls for the property and easy check in with the lock box. It is an older place and could use a fresh coat of paint on the walls to brighten things up, the linoleum floors in the kitchen and bathrooms are very old with stains and there were quite a few light bulbs burnt out in different rooms & the front porch, so it was very dark when we returned in the evening. There were very basic utensils, and unfortunately there were no drinking glasses only coffee mugs. We were also celebrating a few different things and had to purchase a wine opener since one was not provided in the home. There were no wine glasses either. We did leave the wine opener for the next guest to use. The master bed had 2 pillows but the covers were more decorative (fuzzy) then a traditional pillow case which made us feel like they may not be cleaned very often. The master shower & guest shower were not very clean and the guest shower drain was clogged/slow to drain. The TV picture coloring was very blue and we attempted to adjust the coloring but nothing improved it. The TV may need to be replaced soon. When we went to warm up water for coffee in the morning, we discovered the microwave was broken. We were not able to open the door because the handle was broken. I immediately notified the host who responded back promptly suggesting to send someone over but we declined since we were getting ready to check out. This is a no frills stay.
