Our vacation home is located right in the heart of the old town, surrounded by restaurants, cafés, and vineyards. It’s a five-minute walk to the Palatinate Forest, which features numerous hiking trails, a Roman quarry, a Celtic ring wall, forest restaurants, castle ruins, and more. It’s a two-minute walk to the Salinarium with its indoor and outdoor pools, the casino, and the spa gardens. Ideal accommodations for a relaxing and/or active vacation.
If you choose our small townhouse, you’ll have access to all modern amenities and stay in a charming building mentioned as early as the first edition of the street map from 1840.
Through the entrance gate, you’ll reach the small courtyard from the street. Two steps lead to the house’s entrance. You’ll enter a foyer with a coat closet. Here on the first floor, you’ll find the bright living room with a dining area and the separate kitchen. The seating area, along with the coffee table and 55-inch smart TV, invites you to relax and unwind. The dining area is furnished with a table and four chairs.
The fully equipped kitchen features an oven, a four-burner ceramic cooktop with an extractor fan, a refrigerator with a freezer compartment, a dishwasher, a coffee maker, and a toaster. A kettle is available for tea drinkers. You can pass food directly into the dining area through a serving hatch.
A staircase leads you to the first floor. There you’ll find the modern, naturally lit bathroom with a large walk-in rain shower, toilet, and sink.
Next door is the spacious bedroom, furnished with a double bed (180 x 200 cm) and a large closet (including a safe). Due to the renovation of the old structure, the staircase leading to the second bedroom in the attic unfortunately does not meet current standards and, as in all old townhouses, takes some getting used to and is somewhat steeper. This room, with a lower ceiling height (1.85 m), is furnished with two single beds (each 90 x 200 cm), a clothes rack with hangers, and a dresser. Two armchairs with a side table also invite you to relax or watch TV (24" Smart TV). From the upper windows, you’ll enjoy a beautiful view of the Palatinate Forest and the Kriemhildenstuhl.
In front of the bedroom, there is a small reading nook where you’ll find several novels and mysteries, as well as a few young adult books. In the courtyard, you’ll find the laundry room, equipped with a washing machine, a drying rack, an ironing board, and an iron. A parasol and the seat cushions for the outdoor seating area (four chairs with a table) are also stored there.
