A nice trip ruined , unresponsive owner plays God with the thermostat, plan on sweating in this rental , no A/C … just hot recycled air. The Nest t-stat is locked and can only be controlled by owner. It was 79 degrees when we arrived and 79 when we left. He was completely unresponsive to our requests for cooler air. The windows don’t open. Could not sleep at all. It was stifling. I know people can be a little unreasonable with A/C, wanting it freezing, but the listing says there is A/C and 79 degrees in a very small room with no windows to open was hot and suffocating. The owner completely ignoring us was infuriating. He obviously did not care about our well-being or comfort. God help whoever may be staying there this week with 100 degree temps outside. We could deal with the road noise with the busy street and the issue of finding parking, but the lack of response to our pleas for help with A/C was disturbing.
