This house is very fun and unique. Situated at the top of the hill, there are excellent views of the town and the lake. The porch is a great spot to hang out (the kids loved it).

Cool historic cabin in a great location. Easy walk to the town and beach with a wonderful view of the lake. The porch was a great hang out spot and stayed very cool despite the very high temperatures outside.

The location is great for exploring main street and access to the marinas. Love the screened in porch and the variety of seating options to enjoy the view and ice cream from Miyachi's. Beds are comfortable, house is in good condition and is well maintained. Great place to make memories while embracing a little piece of Grand Lake history.

Staying at this beautiful historic cabin was an absolute dream. It perfectly balances old-world charm and character with modern cleanliness and comfort. The cabin was clean, quaint, and cozy from the moment we walked in.The location also can’t be beat. We got the best of both worlds: breathtaking, peaceful views right from the property, while walking distance to the beach and town. It made exploring the area and relaxing at home equally effortless. Every bedroom has mountain views!If you are looking for a unique, memorable getaway that feels tucked away but is close to everything, this is it.

Jump back in time in this historic cabin. We had a wonderful, relaxing experience. The enclosed porch takes this over the top. Sitting on the porch looking out over the lake with the mountain background is beautiful. Walking distance to restaurants, shopping, ice cream stands, coffee shop, etc. The house is very clean and the upholstery is all brand new. Host is local and very friendly and attentive. We will definitely book this cabin again in the near future!

Enjoyed a little bit of Grand Lake history by staying at the historic Owen house over Labor Day with extended family.Great location! So close to shops , restaurants and the beach! Fabulous screened in front porch with a view of the lake. Perfect place to share a meal, relax or play games. We will definitely come back for a repeat visit!

Such a wonderful place to stay in GL! The cabin is the perfect mix of old mtn charm & modern aminities. The host has thought of every necessary detail making it very comfortable & easy. We loved spending time on the screened in porch every morning & evening visiting & watching the lake. Great location just steps from town and the public beach. I hope we can return! Honestly we felt lucky to have been invited to stay in such a historic, lovely home and at an amazingly reasonable rate.

This is an amazing property!!! Literally just steps away from the Grand Lake beach. It is a beautiful 100 year old cabin full of charm and character!The front porch is the best hangout spot too!
