The bedroom is equipped with a Queen sized tempur-pedic mattress and combed cotton high thread count sheets with fluffy shams, duvet and pillows. A warm spacious and cozy retreat.
Excellent furnishings in this one bedroom private entrance suite.
A bright 750 sq. ft suite with 4 large windows with screens.
All rooms have thermostats and electric baseboard heating. The suite has a fully equipped kitchen. There is a full-sized washer and dryer laundry room in the suite; a large dining area; a livingroom area equipped with big screen TV and Rogers cable; a workstation area with free WiFi.
SKIERS take NOTE: Only 10 minutes to the nearest Coastal Mountain skiing at Grouse Mountain; 15 minutes to Cypress Bowl ski mountain; 30 minutes to Mount Seymour ski lifts. Only 1 Hour and 30 minutes to Whistler / Blackcomb Ski mountains.
Sightseeing: only 12 minutes to Vancouver City Centre by car, 30 minutes by bus and Seabus to Vancouver city centre. Locally you are only 5 minutes to shopping at Park Royal Mall.and Lower Lonsdale and The Quay
We are12 steps down to the suite, (banisters on both sides of the stairs)
You will be comforted to know that your suite has been fully inspected by the Government Business inspector and Fire Inspector for the approved Short-term Rental Business Licence RST-36025 issued Sept 25, 2024

We had a wonderful stay at Howie's beautiful accommodation. It's in a lovely area of Vancouver and was always a pleasure to return back to after a day out with plenty of space. Howie was great with his advice from the moment we enquired and it was lovely to chat with him and meet his family when we arrived. We will definitely stay again hopefully, when we visit Vancouver again.

Everything you could ask for and more. Beautiful private space with multiple amenities and located close to a small shopping center. Howie went above and beyond as a host and made the whole process so easy. Would stay again anytime I’m in Vancouver.

Everything about our stay was easy and comfortable. Howie greeted us and gave us a tour of the space, which was equipped with every amenity we could possibly need during our trip. His home and backyard were beautiful, he was very easy and pleasant to communicate with, and we will definitely be back next time we’re in Vancouver!

Clean suite in basement of family home. Separate entrance, well-equipped space including a full kitchen and washer/dryer. We could hear occasional footsteps above, but nothing bothersome. Really nice to meet Howie and hear some of his stories, hope to be back here!

Immaculate, pristine and so comfortable. Howie was an amazing host and helpful in every way. We stayed here several nights before our cruise so we could check out Vancouver. We felt at home the minute we walked in. Beautifully well appointed space. Close to freeway for easy access. Highly recommend. Award for best VRBO experience and cleanest property goes to Howie.

Just the perfect hidden gem near everything. Easy on and off of Hwy #1. Transits close, we are transit people when we visit Cities. Hiking in urban forests minutes from the property. Grocery and restaurants walking distance. And best coffee shop ‘Nomad’ in North Vancouver. We have stayed twice in this location and will be repeat guests for years to come.

Great place to stay

Lovely property in a great location. Howie was a lovely person, very helpful and even gave us a lift down to the sea bus when we left.Apartment was very clean, had everything anybody could have needed and we would highly recommend it to anyone looking to stay in Vancouver.

Great property - great stay!

This property is as described - luxurious and comfortable with every amenity you could wish for. Moreover, the owner is the most pleasant we've ever encountered in our many VRBO stays. The location of this property is located within no more than 30 minutes by car to any tourist attraction, and to the Vancouver airport. And the city transit system is one of the best in Canada. You will love your stay here; we look forward to our next stay!!

Visiting from California.

We were very impressed with how clean and well maintained the suite was. Stephanie, was the host because her husband, Howie, was out of town. She was friendly and helpful recommending restaurants. Although we didn’t cook, the kitchen was fully equipped. We enjoyed our stay in Vancouver and other areas of British Columbia.

Spectacular Accommodations in N. Vancouver

We were very late checking in due to a major flight delay out of Atlanta and rescheduled to a later flight arriving after midnight. Howie was very accommodating and kind to provide access to our VRBO so late. Inside we were thrilled to see the amazing home available to us during our 2-day stay. The kitchen, bedroom, bathroom and living space was beautifully appointed and we really appreciate our very own washer and dryer use at our disposal. Howie kindly offered us a ride but we had already ordered a Lyft. He couldn’t have been any more accommodating which was greatly appreciated and the space was immaculate!

Great Place, Better Host

2nd stay at Howies wonderful spot in North Van.The unit is impeccably clean and well equipped with cutlery, utensils, dishware etc.Howie is excellent at staying in touch and responding to needs.The unit is quiet and conveniently located.

Perfect north Vancouver location

This property was perfect for my wife and I’s weekend getaway to north Vancouver. Howie was extremely friendly and ensured every need was met. We would highly recommend and would definitely stay again next time we return.

Great location

Right off the highway, Howie’s home is easily accessible but still quiet and cozy. The suite is down a staircase to a private entrance to the basement of the home. Howie was a very communicative host and we felt very comfortable there. If you have a car, this is a great place to stay - free parking, easy drive to the city and super easy drive to cypress for skiing!

High end suite

This suite was exactly as described and completely outfitted with high end amenities. The host couldn’t have been more accommodating or easy to deal with. We would highly recommend it and will stay there again. We were happy it was available on our dates!

Comfortable and quiet

It was cozy and comfortable and very clean. I had three wonderful sleeps in a comfortable bed. Howie was a great host and I would definitely stay here again.
