Excellent Location, Excellent hosts!

The location is just far enough away to get away from everything, but so close getting around is a breeze! Unique with anything you'd need. The hosts were awesome and very welcoming. I highly recommend staying here.

We had trouble using the VRBO app in communication. Overall a good place to stay for easy access to Bar Harbor and the National Park.

Perfect location in Bar Harbor!

Easy walking to everywhere! Hosts were wonderfully responsive and generous! And the best part is that you can always just point your Apple or Google map to “A Little Mad” and you are home.

Location location locationThis is perfectly located in Bar Harbor. A short walk to the breathtaking water view and one street back from the main street filled with many shops and restaurants. Definitely would recommend this place to others.

The food, shops and everything you need is within a brief walk from the door. Even caught a show at the Criterion that is literally around the corner!

A Bar Harbor Gem!

Loved our visit at A Little Mad Stay! The location is great with easy walking distance to shops, restaurants, and the Shore Path. Off street parking is a definite perk and even more so in high season. The space is welcoming with comfortable beds and access to an outdoor seating area. Would love to visit again. Be sure to check out the A Little Mad shop while you’re there - best shop in town!

A Perfect Stay in the Heart of Bar Harbor

We had such an incredible stay at A Little Mad Stay. It truly exceeded our expectations in every way. The location is unbeatable. We parked when we arrived and didn’t need the car again. Everything in Bar Harbor is just steps away. Having a dedicated off-street parking spot was such a huge bonus and made everything feel easy from the moment we arrived. It’s also incredibly close to Acadia National Park, which made getting in and out for hikes and exploring so convenient. The apartment itself is so comfortable and thoughtfully put together. We slept amazingly well every night. The beds are incredibly comfortable, and the whole space feels quiet, cozy, and relaxing after a full day out. We especially loved having meals together at the table. It became one of our favorite parts of the day. It’s the kind of place that makes you want to slow down and actually enjoy being there. Everything was clean, well cared for, and exactly as described, if not better. You can tell a lot of intention has gone into creating a space where guests feel at ease. It really is the perfect mix of convenience and retreat. Right in the middle of everything, yet peaceful when you come home. We would absolutely stay here again without hesitation.

We had a wonderful 3-night stay. You can't beat the location - right in the middle of everything, but quiet and peaceful. The place was clean and incredibly well stocked. It was so nice not to need to go find coffee and creamer in the morning. We loved exploring Bar Harbor and would love to come back. Everyone was so welcoming and kind. Highly recommend.

Incredibly convenient location and the dedicated parking spot was clutch due to how busy downtown would often get. The host was very responsive and courteous. I would recommend staying here

If you want to park in downtown Bar Harbor and never have to get back in your car for a few days, this is definitely the place to do it from (except to go into Acadia!) Literally stamped into the center of downtown, walk anywhere within minutes, including the supermarket! Only small drawback is the one bathroom. Otherwise the place was awesome and we would definitely think about coming back in the future!
