The condo was clean and cozy. It had everything my family and I needed. We loved what the Dunes have to offer. If we ever vacation in Myrtle we will definitely stay here again!

Overall we loved the facility and location. The condo itself was ABSOLUTELY filthy. I’m not even sure that it was swept after the previous checkout. Kitchen was dirty and far too small to actually prepare anything. Beds were incredibly uncomfortable. We would personally not choose to stay here again due the issues with cleanliness.

The property itself is great besides the unloading and loading parking. There at 15 min unloading and loading parking spots but people just park there and leave their vehicles for their entire stay and no one is inforcing towing as stated on the parking sign. The room is terrible. It was not cleaned. The previous renters left some of their food and drinks in room. Dust bunnys everywhere. Floors were nasty. I understand it is a beach there is sand but it was not cleaned up. Kitchen area had no where to store your food. The eatting utinsels were just thrown in cabinet with knifes on top. We checked sheets and there was sand under two layers of fitted sheets. One of the beds had blood stains on sheets. The pull down bed was very nasty with stains on matteress. Felt very nasty being in the room.

The booking process through VRBO was smooth. We paid in full before arriving and received helpful emails with clear check-in instructions. Everything started off great.Unfortunately, once we needed assistance, communication fell apart. The washer and dryer did not work for our entire stay. At the beach, that's a major inconvenience, and we had to deal with wet clothes the whole vacation. We reported the issue immediately, multiple times and were repeatedly told someone would come fix it, but no one ever did.To make matters worse, we received an urgent text claiming our balance had not been paid in full and that we could be locked out of the condo if we didn't pay immediately. After multiple messages trying to resolve the situation, we stopped receiving responses altogether.The property itself was nice, but customer service and follow through were extremely disappointing. A quick response before arrival means very little if guests can't get help when something goes wrong. Based on this experience, we would have been better off booking directly through the hotel.
