This is a very beautiful house with a wonderful view of the sea. The rooms are quite big and you can walk to the beach. We loved our stay.

We loved our stay here. The property is just a 5 minute walk from Agia Triada, a beautiful quiet beach with calm waters. The terrace has a beautiful view across the water where you can watch the sunrise. The air con was effective, beds comfortable and the property had everything we needed.Koroni is less than 10 mins drive and has plenty of restaurants along the harbour. The area is not overly touristy with no big hotel complexes in sight. If you’re looking for a relaxing, quiet family holiday this is perfect!

Beautiful stay. This is a small house, with a convenient set up inside and outside, perfect for a couple with two kids. It has a nice terrasse, is conveniently located - to the nearest beach (walking distance), Koroni (5-10 minutes drive) and other interesting places like Methoni and Pylos (1 hour drive). We very much liked the fact that the house was well equipped - kitchen utensils, basic supplies for an easy arrival, etc. Check in and check out also easy. Thank you!

Ideal house, very quiet.

The house was ideallic. Typical greek house, and nice terrace. Everything very clean. And so quiet. We enjoyed our stay very much!

An older home but lovingly take care of. Very well equipped with all necessities including beach umbrellas and lounge chairs. If you love cats as we do, there are lots of feline friends who come and visit :)The local beach is a 5 minute walk and the sea is blissful as are the sunrises and the star studded nights.

Beautiful hidden gem close to almost private beach

We had a nice stay here. Good starting point for exploration of the most of Messinia. Many interesting places to be visited like Koroni, Methoni, Kalamata, Ancient Messinia, Pylos and numerous walks to be made in the impressive mountainous environment.

Nice and quiet house with a beautiful view from the terrace.

It was a wonderful vacation (2 weeks) in beautiful Koroni. We had a great time and we especially enjoyed the lovely terrace, the beach below and dinner in Artaki seafront restaurant in Koroni.

Always happy in Koroni!

We’ve been here last year and we’ve been happy to be back. The place is always super, quiet and isolated but at easy distance from markets, restaurants and everything. The beach is fantastic, and not crowded even in mid August. Benefit: a bunch of kittens. We really hope everything stays the same as it is now. Thanks!

Perfect holiday home

The house was in a small gated complex with two other houses but we would not have known they were there. A very peaceful, well stocked and clean house with easy access to the wonderful beach and local towns where there were plenty of restaurants and a well stocked shop. The owners were easy to contact and the instructions how to get to the property from the airport were spot on. Could not have found it without their help! Our visit coincided with very hot weather and so the air conditioning was most welcome. The terrace was private and had a gorgeous view of the sea and mountains. As a family of four adults we could not have asked for a better holiday. We would recommend a hire car though to get there and to get around the area which is well worth the drive. Thank you for an idyllic week.

The best holiday

We had the most fantastic stay at Villa Olive Grove. The house and views are even better than the pictures show! It was so peaceful and quiet with the most incredible views over the sea towards the mountains. The house was incredibly clean when we arrived and really well equipped for everything you could need. The second bedroom is plenty big enough for two adults and all the beds were really comfortable! The outdoor areas are amazing and there is always sun or shade at all times of day depending on your preferences. The beach was just a short walk away (down quite a steep hill) and was really quiet for the most part despite being there in August, some mornings we had it completely to ourselves! The hosts are lovely and so helpful before we arrived as I had a problem with my emails but they sorted everything immediately. We couldn’t have wished for a more perfect holiday and would recommend it to anyone in a heartbeat. We hope to be back one day very soon!

Lovely house, shame about the noise

Villa Olive Grove is a lovely house - clean, comfortable, tasteful, spacious and very private. The house is well maintained and well equipped although we could not find a kettle. Also the house notes were only in German.There are good views from the large terrace across the sea to the other side of the Gulf. There are a couple of pleasant sandy beaches just a short walk away. We could not find a footpath to Koroni which is around 10 minutes by car. Unfortunately our stay was spoilt by very loud music played over several hours on a daily basis. There is a house being built a little way along and we understand that the sons of the people having the house built were staying in an adjacent house. On the second day of our stay the very loud music started at 16:30 and continued until 21:30. We asked them to turn it down which they did slightly. The next day it started again so we decided to go into Koroni for the evening. We ended up having to do that for the rest of the week as we could not relax or enjoy the beautiful view from the terrace. (So we also spent more money than we would have done). On the Thursday some friends came to visit us and the music started at 14:30 - it was awful. We either had to go inside with the doors shut or leave the villa. To make matters worse there was also noise from the building work - that wouldn't have been too bad as they stopped at around 15:00 for siesta but the fact that we then had to put up with loud music was just too much. We were disappointed and frustrated at the lack of concern or help from the owners. We could not get through to them initially but were able to speak to a contact who said she would let them know of the problem. The contact did try and help by contacting the mother of the boys (it would seem that the noise was a known problem). We did not hear anything from the owners until my husband asked the contact to ask them to phone us. We would have thought they would have contacted us straight away and come to the house to hear the problem for themselves and to see what they could do to help. It was only after we returned to England that we received an e-mail from them and it would seem that they weren't in Greece anyway. A concern for future guests is that the boys will be neighbours as the house being built is owned by their parents. Thankfully we had spent a quiet and relaxing week in the Mani the previous week. We would have given Villa Olive Grove 5 stars but for the noise.

We apologize again for the noise and we can understand that this was horrible for you and your family. In the background we did really everything we could to help you. But also for us the loud music was a negative surprise (and - for future holiday makers: It will not happen again for sure, we are going to have a meeting with the parents of these youngsters) which we didn`t expect because it never happened before. To make other guests believe this would be usual is not fair and you know that very well. It is our wish and our pride from the bottom of our hearts to make people happy for the time they save up for and they are looking forward to all year - every detail in our houses is telling about that. However - we`ve sent you the money back and wish you the best.

Wir hatten eine tolle Woche in der Villa Olivenhain. Die Ruhe und der Meerblick von der sind einfach nur herrlich. Das Haus ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet und die Küche sehr gut ausgestattet. Sabina und Hermann sind tolle Gastgeber, schnell, zuverlässig und sehr hilfsbereit. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Wir hatten zwei wunderschöne Wochen in diesem Haus. Es ist alles im Haus vorhanden was man für einen erholsamen Urlaub braucht. Anreise(beschreibung). Schlüsselübergabe, Kommunikation mit den Vermietern -einfach alles top. In 10 Minuten ist man zu Fuß an einem der schönsten Strände der Umgebung und die Terasse mit Blick auf den Mani-Finger des Peloponnes ist zu jeder Tageszeit einfach himmlisch. Liebe Sabina und Hermann vielen Dank für diese wunderschöne Zeit! Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

Erholsame Zeit in schönem Haus

Wir hatten erholsame zwei Wochen in dem gemütlichen Haus, das besser ausgestattet als erwartet war. Die Terrasse mit Meerblick war das Highlight. Was wir auch sehr genossen, war, dass wir in 10 Minuten zu Fuß am Strand waren. Auch die Lage bei Koroni war wunderbar. Das Örtchen ist immer noch ursprünglich und liegt günstig für Ausflüge in die Umgebung. Klare Empfehlung!

Sommer Urlaub 24

Es waren wunderschöne Wochen die wir dort verbracht haben. Das Haus hält alle Annehmlichkeiten die man für einen Urlaub braucht bereit und die Lage ist ein Traum, man wacht auf und schaut über das Wasser.

Paradies am Meer

Das Ferienhaus ist wunderschön, super sauer und top ausgestattet. Die Lage ist perfekt. Der Strand ist fußläufig zu erreichen, der Blick auf das Meer ist atemberaubend schön und die Terrasse ist toll. Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Zeit - vielen Dank dafür lieber Hermann und liebe Sabina! Villa Olivenhain im Juli 2023

Wir haben zwei herrliche, sehr erholsame Wochen in der Villa Olivenhain verbracht. Das Haus ist wunderbar ruhig gelegen und toll ausgestattet, der schöne Hausstrand auch an heißen Tagen leicht zu Fuß zu erreichen und nie zu voll. Die Kommunikation mit den Vermietern war immer sehr herzlich. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

Pace e tranquillità a Koroni

Siamo state benissimo nella casa di Hermann e Sabine. La casa é molto confortevole e super accessoriata. Dalla terrazza si gode una bellissima vista e tutto intorno c’è solo pace e tranquillità. La spiaggia é davvero vicina, si raggiunge a piedi, ed è molto bella e soprattutto per niente affollata. Anche a ferragosto si stava tranquilli. La descrizione della casa è accurata. Il paese più vicino é a solo due o tre chilometri da casa, con un’ottima taverna e un supermercato fornitissimo. Koroni é a meno di dieci minuti in auto ed è un paese ancora autentico. Tutta la vacanza è stata bellissima, abbiamo avuto anche la compagnia di una famiglia di gatti, che abbiamo molto amato. É un posto dove tornare, spero proprio di poterlo fare l’anno prossimo. Grazie ancora di tutto Sabine e Hermann!

Traumhafter Urluab

Wir haben den Aufenthalt in diesem schönen Haus wirklich genossen. Wir haben schon viele Häuser im Urlaub gemietet, aber keines davon war so perfekt bis ins letzte Detail ausgestattet. Zum Hausstrand waren es keine 700 Meter und wir konnten jeden Morgen an diesem schönen Ort in den Tag hinein schwimmen. Wir haben auch eine Reihe von netten Tavernen in der Umgebung gefunden und das Haus war ein toller Ausgangspunkt, den westlichen Finger der Peleponnes zu entdecken. Wir können diesen schönen und ruhigen Ort nur wirklich empfehlen.
