We stayed at the Rose the last 5 days. We needed a break from the real world, and we definitely got that here! We were able to bring our 2 fur babies with us which they loved! Its hard to find places that are pet friendly, so we appreciate that alot! The Rose was clean and remote and just a beautiful little cabin. It had most everything you may need. We will definitely be visiting again! Thank you for sharing the Rose with us!

We absolutely adored the cabin. Fantastic location. Amazing views. Everything you need. Watching the fireflies in the evening dancing over the expansive meadow in front was so relaxing.

Cute place but smelled like septic.Initially we just ran in long enough to change clothes at check in. The ceiling fans were all on high and we didn’t notice a smell then.We returned that night and turned off the fans before going to bed. I was awakened by the septic smell and turned the fans back on but the smell was still there. It made me nauseous and I didn’t sleep well. My husband slept through it but smelled it the next morning before we checked out. It was noticeable in the living room and bedroom. We only had one night and I contacted the host after we left to see if others had experienced this. I asked about a refund since our experience wasn’t great and it was an expensive rental (250/nt). Host said they couldn’t smell anything and neither could their cleaner. And declined to refund anything. We didn’t imagine that smell. The house and setting are great but we wouldn’t stay there again.

We absolutely loved staying at The Rose. It was clean, warm (a Spring Break snow came down, and the fireplace was especially nice), and just perfect. We especially loved the hot tub (with a gorgeous view of the stars on a clear night - 10/10). Michelle was an especially gracious host, and her hospitality is unmatched. I will definitely book with her again, and encourage anyone else to, as well.

Excellent location. Close to town yet felt very private. We had a very lovely stay! The one suggestion would be to update the mattress as it was obvious it was very well loved. Other than that, absolutely no complaints!

We had a wonderful stay and enjoyed how close the cabin is to downtown and hiking trails. The hot tub on the porch was very relaxing for the cold nights. We will definitely stay here again.
