This location was great for visiting Great Basin National Park. It is close to town and close to park entrance. The views from the unit are beautiful. Sandra was a great host and provided great tips for dining which was very valuable since there are very limited choices for dining.

This place has easy access to Great Basin NP. The bed was very comfortable. The studio was nicely decorated and the grounds very peaceful and relaxing after a day in the park. Sandra was good to communicate with. All around a great place near Great Basin.

Exactly as described in the listing and spotlessly clean. Beautiful morning view from the front door! If possible, arrive before dark. Without Sandra's detailed directions, the turn from the highway would have been easy to miss. We were grateful for the light she left on for us!

This is a fabulous choice for a place to stay when in Baker visiting the national park.It is literally down the road from the entrance, Up a private gravel road,the unit had everything we needed- plus extras! How usually to be given full size bathroom products, a nightlight, spices and olive oil, a huge canister of coffee, a candle, chocolate bars, paper towels, and even a bag of fresh ice! The bed was super comfortable and the hear/air conditioner were effective.Our host Sandee was very nice and the place was spotlessly cleaned on our arrival.We were glad to be assigned the “South Unit” because it was away from the main house and had lovely sun pouring through the windows, as well as a great view of the sunrise over the mountains.

Everything was perfect! The studio was so peaceful and quiet, set among mature trees, with great views of the Great Basin valley below. The location is only a few minutes down the road from Great Basin National Park's Lehman Caves Visitor Center, making it beyond convenient for anyone wishing to visit the park. The studio's interior was absolutely charming and comfortable - the perfect home away from home. The kitchen was fully equipped with all the needed glassware, dishes, cooking and eating utensils, pots and pans, a two-burner hotplate, coffee maker, an electric hot-water kettle, and a nice selection of spices, teas and coffee. All toiletries were stocked in the bathroom, with plenty of large towels, washcloths and hand towels. The bed was extremely comfortable, the a/c system quiet and efficient. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and highly recommend this lovely rental.

The location next to Great Basin National Park was great. There was no mention that the unit was located on the private property of the School of Natural Order, however. This made it a little unsettling when arriving after dark. There was not a bathtub as stated in the description, and it was not a one bedroom but a studio. The hair dryer stopped working and a text to the host letting her know was not acknowledged. We also let her know we ended up missing several pieces of jewelry, which she said she would check for but we never received a response. Not sure why our experience was so different than the others.

Fantastic stay. Google gives the wrong location but it's actually easy to find once you know to approach the property from 488 NOT 487. The host was amazing and came out to guide us to the property personally.

This is a lovely, quiet getaway. We loved sitting on the lawn under the tree in the front yard and looking out over the valley.

We loved staying at this beautiful property. It was very close to Big Basin NP and the Lehman caves and the property itself has amazing views and green trees and grass and a nice pond. Sunrises are magical. And at night it was dark enough to see all the stars. The unit was comfortable and well equipped. We were able to make all our meals. There is no oven but the microwave and hot plate work well. The AC also worked well but we didn’t need it much since there was a nice breeze. Communication with Sandee was excellent and she gave us very good directions. One trick is to follow the signs to the Private Retreat. We highly recommend staying here.

We loved staying here in this studio apartment which is very cute, fully equipped, and located in a very quiet area up the road to Great Basin National Park. It was a bit difficult to find but folks living near there were helpful, pleasant, and welcoming. If back in the area again, we would definitely choose this place and for a few days in order to visit Great Basin NP allowing plenty of time.
