The Space:

The name says it all. The best vacation on Edisto Beach is waiting for you at Best Place. This adorable Shelter Cove home is perfect for couples or a small family looking for a peaceful getaway. Wonderful views of The Plantation Course at Edisto are yours to enjoy from the backside screened porch. Look out for wildlife like herons, egrets, turtles, and more in the lagoon. The spacious interior is bright and also features a loft that kids of any age will find cozy and comfortable. The well-equipped kitchen is adjacent to a very versatile dining area. Take advantage of dining al fresco from the dual porches. The charm of the Lowcountry will wow you from this fantastic resort home. Enjoy one of Wyndham's three pools, playground, tennis courts, and fitness center for an additional fee.

Check-in time: 4:00 p.m.

Check-out time: 10:00 a.m.

All guests shall abide by The Good Neighbor Policy and shall not engage in illegal activity. Quiet hours are from 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m.

No smoking is permitted anywhere on the premises.

This vacation rental is located inside of the Wyndham Ocean Ridge Resort. Boats, trailers, motorcycles, mopeds, campers, RV's, and golf carts are not allowed inside of the resort.

Wyndham amenities are available for purchase for an additional fee from the Wyndham Cafe but there is NO GUARANTEE due to limited passes per day. Wyndham Amenities are shared pools, tennis, gym fitness room, mini golf, playground, and Beach Cabana.

The home was nice and clean only problem was bathing towels. We had a party of 4 adults and 4 children and one towel for each person for 4 days. When I called for more towels I was told I could only have 8 towels and I should expect to do laundry. The rest of the staff was friendly, accommodating and the trip was fantastic.

The Best Place was the best place for us and our beagle loved it too!

Relaxing Vacation

The house is clean and well organized. One of our Gus’s enjoys pier fishing and enjoyed its convenience to the local pier. Beds are comfortable and on the whole the trip was just plain plesant

Perfect stay!

Best Place at Ocean Ridge, Edisto Island was perfect for our trip with 4 of us. This home can sleep 8 easily, maybe more if you count the porch and pull out options. Thanks for a great stay!

Family 4th of July vacation

We have been coming to Edisto for 21 years and have stayed all over the island. This was the first time we brought a pet and "The Best Place" worked out wonderfully .

We enjoyed our time for a weekend get-away! The views from the back screen porch were gorgeous during dawn and dusk.

Lovely stay

Stayed over Thanksgiving, even during the off season we enjoyed the beach (walking distance) and biking around the area. Cooked our traditional Thanksgiving meal in a well stocked kitchen. Loved the front and back porches!

Great Location and Pet Friendly

We like our stay enjoyed the whole week we just noticed a few dirty rugs and dirt on the couch but besides that everything was good
