Perched above Playa Sombrero on the Osa Peninsula, this open-air rainforest retreat is built for surfing, fishing, yoga, wildlife watching, and slowing down. Walk to a secluded beach, cool off in your private pool, and wake to monkeys, macaws, and ocean breezes.

THE SPACE
Four bedrooms sleep up to 10 guests across seven beds, including two king beds and bunk beds for the kids, with 3.5 bathrooms so no one waits in line. The living areas open to the outdoors and stay cool with ceiling fans. The full kitchen is stocked with cooking basics, dishes, a blender and coffee maker, and there is an indoor dining table plus a second one outside.

THE OUTDOORS
The private pool is the heart of the property, with sun loungers around it and a rancho alongside - a covered open-air lounge with a BBQ grill, comfortable seating and an outdoor dining area made for long dinners. Hammocks, a large private backyard, a shaded deck and a patio complete the space.

THE LOCATION
Playa Sombrero is a short walk away. Puerto Jimenez is close by for restaurants, groceries and tours, and Corcovado National Park is within reach for a day trip. Expect scarlet macaws overhead, monkeys in the trees and some of the most alive rainforest in Costa Rica right outside the door.
