Breathtaking views of Thunersee (Lake Thun) at this charming and cozy home! We had such a wonderful stay! Klara was a fantastic host! She met us at the beginning and the end of the trip and ensured everything was perfect. The home is comfortable and well stocked, and includes a washer, dryer and dishwasher. The sleeping accommodations were very comfortable. It has a great family room, dining room and balcony - all with spectacular views. It is in a great location for exploring the area. We hope to return and would HIGHLY recommend it.

Our family of four had a lovely stay at Klara’s home. It was a great location for exploring the greater Interlaken area and had all the basics we needed. Our kids especially enjoyed the toys she provided.

We really appreciated this home, Klara was great, the view is amazing! It is a cottage/house in a country setting, so it's not a 5-star hotel, but it's clean, furnished, and has everything you need. The bathroom is a bit small, but completely adequate for all your needs. This was a good "ground zero" for us to set up residence in for a 10-day stay in Switzerland.

This is a beautiful home and wonderful location to enjoy the views and the lake. The home owner and her son were so welcoming and kind. We had a great experience and hope to come back one day soon.

Wonderful home to stay in.

The house was beautiful, very well stocked and equipped, and in a great location. We would stay here again. Klara was a wonderful host. The beds were comfortable and the shower was great! We couldn’t have imagined a more beautiful view of Lake Thun and the mountains.

excellent view and a quite place

we have enjoyed every moment in this place with the family and kids, everything you need is a available in the house and enough room for all. host was very helpful, friendly and speaks multiple languages

Beautiful setting overlooking the lake although 25 mins by car to Interlaken station, gateway to the Jungfrau area but reflected in the price for the week. Straightforward accommodation and spacious. Good shower (essential) Could do with more electrical sockets. Very much enjoyed the week.

Great vacation house

It was a really nice property with an amazing view of the lake. Klara was an amazing host and was able to accommodate me and my friends very well. The driveway is quite steep but we were able to get used to parking there quite well! If I get the chance I would rent from her and this property again

Anniversary Trip Getaway!

Klara was a very hospitable host! She was so welcoming, shared a lot of different information about the area and the best things to do. The view from the rental home is breathtaking and the best part about the house. It was so nice to open the windows and have an incredible view of Lake Thun. Some of our favorite suspects about the home were the wood fireplace that was so cozy to light at night. also, we love to open the windows in the front and bathroom to hear the cow bells during the day. This really made for a wonderful Switzerland experience.! We would love to stay at this rural vacation home again! 100% recommend to stay here, Thank you Klara!

Winter dream house

I don’t know where to begin- everything about our stay was absolutely AMAZING! We were greeted by Klara and her son. They had the fire place started and house warmed up, which was perfect since we had our two toddlers with us. The view from the dining area and top balcony is breathtaking. We couldn’t stop looking out the whole time of our stay. Our girls were able to enjoy some snow play while we were on the property, the home has plenty of toys, and puzzles for children, and we did some adventures around the area. The property is clean and had everything you need to make your stay accommodating. I hope to come back to this house in the future. I highly recommend this host and her beautiful home to everyone!

Charming old Chalet in the mountains with Breathtaking Views and Cozy Comfort

I recently stayed at a charming old chalet for 3 nights, and the experience was nothing short of wonderful. Located near the top of the mountain, the chalet boasted mesmerizing panoramic views of Thunersee and the Alpine mountain range. Waking up to such a breathtaking landscape each morning was a real highlight. The chalet itself was spacious and cozy, with a large living room on the ground floor centered around a rustic fireplace—perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. The upstairs bedrooms were comfortable and quiet, adding to the overall peacefulness of the stay. Our host, Klara, was incredibly welcoming and was just a phone call away if we needed anything. Her warmth and hospitality made the experience even more enjoyable. One minor drawback was the parking spot—it was a bit tight, so large vehicles might find it difficult. But if you're driving a mid-sized car, it shouldn’t be an issue. Overall, it was a perfect mountain escape, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing retreat with stunning views.

We left this stay very disappointed, with serious safety concerns as a family with children. During our stay, a low window pane at child height broke when accidentally knocked and shattered into large, sharp, jagged pieces. It did not appear to be safety glass and, in my view, posed a real risk of serious injury to a child. This was especially concerning in a family holiday property, which also appeared to lack basic visible safety features despite having a wood burner, including no smoke alarms or carbon monoxide detection. We reported the damage honestly and promptly, yet there was no welfare check and no meaningful communication for around 2.5 weeks, followed by an unexpected damage charge. Guests should be aware that if any damage occurs, the host may pursue a charge directly to your card. There were also other issues. The balcony had a lovely view, but the overhanging roof meant there was very little room to stand and enjoy it properly, despite this being one of the main reasons we booked. The main bedroom is accessed through the children’s bedroom. The children’s room had no curtains on the windows or glass door. The bathroom glass was not frosted, so nearby chalets could see straight in unless the shutters were closed. There were also very few sockets, and the TV wiring ran via an extension cable along the ceiling, which felt odd. The area is lovely around the chalet but advise families to be aware of the issues we found.

Die Unterkunft ist großzügiger und gemütlicher, als es auf den Bildern erscheint. Der Blick von Wohnzimmer und Balkon aus ist wirklich grandios und zu jeder Tageszeit und Wetterlage immer wieder aufs Neue spannend.Die Einrichtung ist zwar nicht in allen Bereichen neu und modern (insbesondere Küche und Bad wirken etwas antiquiert), aber alles funktionierte während unseres Aufenthalts problemlos. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet, und im großen Schlafzimmer gibt es sogar eine Klimaanlage, die an heißen Tagen sehr wertvoll ist.Ein kleiner Nachteil des Hauses war aus unserer Sicht das Kinderschlafzimmer mit Etagenbett. Es ist ein Durchgangszimmer zwischen Treppenaufgang und dem großen Schlafzimmer. Das schmale Etagenbett in diesem Zimmer ist für kleinere Kinder vermutlich noch gut geeignet. Unser Teenager hat letzten Endes aber lieber auf dem Schlafsofa im Wohnzimmer übernachtet. Das war dann zu dritt eine komfortable Lösung, mit der alle zufrieden waren.So hatten wir - nicht zuletzt auch dank des hervorragenden Kontakts zu den Gastgebern, (incl. selbst gebackenem Zwetschgenkuchen!) - einen sehr angenehmen Aufenthalt. Die Lage mit dem fantastischen Blick in einer Ortschaft, die auf Tagesausflügler und Touristen eingestellt ist, aber nicht von diesen überlaufen, fanden wir optimal. Klare Empfehlung!

La propriétaire était très sympatique, très bon accueil. La maison était bien équipée avec tout le nécessaire basique le poêle à bois. Magnifique vue sur le lac et les montagnes et le calme.
