Chiemgauglück Vacation Rental: In Traunstein, “the heart of the Chiemgau,” two new vacation rentals are waiting for you! As part of a complete renovation, two brand-new units, each with just under 50 square meters of living space, have been created on the second floor of our building. Lovingly furnished, each modern and high-quality apartment accommodates up to four people. The open-concept living and sleeping area features a wide double bed and a high-quality sofa bed. Alternatively, either a travel crib or an extra rollaway bed can be provided. However, there are no separate bedrooms. Thanks to the clever architectural design, the two apartments can be connected upon request. The garden features an outdoor sauna that can accommodate up to six people.
Our Chiemgau region is particularly distinguished by its versatility as a tourist destination. Every season offers the opportunity for a stay tailored exactly to your tastes. Nature’s reawakening in spring, the swimming lakes in summer, hiking adventures in fall, and winter sports during the cold season—along with countless year-round activities for “young and old”—ensure you’ll enjoy your dream vacation “in the heart of Chiemgau”! The apartments are available for both short stays and extended vacations. Parking spaces are located directly in front of the house. Lockable bicycle storage with charging stations is available. Upon request, yoga classes are available right here at “Chiemgauglück” with a certified instructor.
The mountain views of the Berchtesgaden and Chiemgau Alps and the Inn Valley are always a treat. The covered terraces and the spacious balcony invite you to linger. Our house is located in the village of Kammer, a district of Traunstein, and is just a few minutes’ drive from both Lake Chiemsee and Lake Waginger. The center of Traunstein, with its many shopping opportunities, is about a five-minute drive away, and the Chiemgau Alps are also just a few minutes’ drive away.

Our “Martin” apartment stands out for its open and bright layout. Ideal for two people, yet equipped with an additional sleeping option for one adult or two children, it also offers space for a small family. Even the first rays of sunlight each morning offer a view of the Alps. The lovingly furnished apartment not only features partially restored furniture but also offers numerous amenities expected of a modern vacation rental.
When furnishing the apartment, we made a conscious effort to choose modern and eco-friendly furnishings; as a result, the approximately 50 m² space features a fully equipped and spacious kitchen, which includes an electric stove with oven, a fridge-freezer, a dishwasher, as well as a coffee maker, electric kettle, microwave, and toaster. The cozy seating area accommodates up to four people. The combined bedroom and living area was designed with great attention to detail. We’ve equipped the double bed with high-quality mattresses and box springs. For families, there’s also a wide sleeper sofa that sleeps one to two people.
We have equipped the apartment with high-speed Wi-Fi. The modern, large, swiveling, and internet-enabled flat-screen TV ensures excellent picture and sound quality for cozy TV nights. In addition, our guests have access to a digital radio with numerous connectivity options for various media devices. The bathroom in this apartment is characterized by modern elegance and is equipped with a shower, towel warmer, toilet, hair dryer, and sink. A washing machine is available in the basement of our building.
The covered south-facing balcony with a small seating area is an ideal place to unwind. During construction last year, we made a conscious effort to select natural building materials. The brand-new roof, built using a wood-frame construction method, is insulated well beyond current standards and offers additional protection from hot temperatures, especially in the summer. During construction, we not only took current fire safety requirements into account but also placed a high priority on effective sound insulation so that you can enjoy your vacation undisturbed.
Environmental protection and the responsible use of our natural resources are matters close to our hearts. That’s why we not only use renewable resources for heating but have also made a conscious decision to harness solar energy. The large, natural garden invites you to relax and offers a barbecue area as well as a fire pit for cozy evenings. Children will especially enjoy the swing set, among other amenities.
On the covered north-facing terrace, our guests can spend their evenings enjoying the sunset on the horizon. In addition to an extensive collection of games, we also offer our guests a small reading nook and a selection of activities in the region. A parking spot right next to the house ensures short walks. Later this year, we’re looking forward to our outdoor sauna, which
