Amazing features- from plush cozy blankets, to the huge couch our group all fit on, down to the cute coffee cups. Such a beautiful and comfortable home.

Rent this house! The host is awesome, fantastic at communication, and takes pride in what they do. The house, clean, new , modern, amazing view of the river. So much to do bring a quad or sxs or a boat. Can't say enough good things

Very comfortable home. The kitchen, pantry and BBQ grill and equipment were perhaps the most well equipped and thoughtfully appointed of any VRBO we’ve stayed in in 20 years. (The knives were sharp!) Next time we’re in town for Border Days, we’ll be staying here!

We had 5 people in our group and there was room for more. The house is everything how it is described on the VRBO website. We couldn't have been more pleased. We will definitely be back if we are ever in this area again. Completely stocked with premium products. The host is very attentive to everything and very helpful.

Check-in was quick and easy. The property was super clean. And the house is friendly and easy to get a hold of. The property had some gorgeous views and my family got a lot of great photos of the deer that would just wander into the yard! I will definitely be staying again!

We had the most wonderful stay at this property. From the moment we arrived, everything was spotless, welcoming, and exactly as described in the listing. The communication with the host was seamless—they were proactive, friendly, and quick to answer any questions we had. The location was perfect, with a beautiful view! The home itself was exceptionally comfortable, well-stocked with all the essentials, and thoughtfully decorated. We especially loved the big sofa, as the whole family could watch a movie together comfortably. Cleanliness and comfort exceeded our expectations. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a five-star vacation rental. Thank you for a truly memorable trip! Be back SOON!

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful Whitebird retreat! The property was clean, peaceful and incredibly relaxing with beautiful Idaho scenery all around, I especially enjoyed viewing all the local wildlife! The home was very comfortable, well stocked and was everything needed for a relaxing getaway. This location is ideal for enjoying nature and escaping the busy pace of everyday life. We especially enjoyed the outdoor space and serene surroundings. Communication with the host was smooth from the booking through checkout. If you are looking for relaxing stay in the Whitebird area this property is a fantastic choice! I will absolutely stay here again, and highly recommend this property to anyone visiting the area! We had an absolutely amazing stay! This was, without a doubt, the best VRBO we’ve ever rented.The home was immaculate—spotlessly clean and beautifully maintained. It was also one of the most thoughtfully stocked rentals we’ve experienced. The hosts truly thought of everything! They provided bottled water, paper plates, plenty of towels, extra blankets and pillows, a comfortable pull-out mattress, Bath & Body Works hand soap, body wash, shampoo, conditioner, makeup remover, candles in each room, and even Bath & Body Works laundry detergent.The coffee bar was incredible with more coffee and flavor options than we could have imagined. The large sectional was perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring, and the beds were extremely comfortable. We also loved that every room has its own air conditioning unit, so each person could adjust the temperature to their own comfort.The views were absolutely breathtaking, and it was obvious the hosts go above and beyond to make sure every detail is perfect for their guests. They even provided a portable Bluetooth speaker, which was a fun bonus.Honestly, I can’t think of a single negative thing to say. If I had one small suggestion, it would be to add TVs to the bedrooms, but that’s simply a personal preference and certainly didn’t take away from our stay.One helpful tip for future guests: GPS directions can be a little misleading. Be sure to turn onto Cemetery Drive from Highway 95.We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

This is IT if you are looking for a beautiful immaculate place to relax with a million dollar view of the Salmon river. Located conveniently and not too far off the highway; whether you’re passing through on Hwy 95 or looking to spend a few days on the Salmon river, rafting or fishing out of Pittsburgh Landing, or visiting the Whitebird, Grangeville area this is your place to land. Don’t look any further. Seriously. Very well appointed, close to some of the best homemade food around, across the highway at Hoot’s Cafe, look no further. Ray’s Retreat is a 5 star home that makes you feel pampered from the minute you arrive. The 18-20ft ceilings and open layout are amazing for families and socializing, the rooms are private while the Keurig coffee bar is very much appreciated and comes equipped with creamer, sweetener and condiments, complimentary bottled water and an amazing kitchen. We worked all puzzles in the closet and had card games to play. I fell in love with the comforting design and feel, it’s beautiful. So if you need a referral to stay here, ask me and look no further.

We rented this as a party of 6. We wanted to go on the jet boat tour into Hells canyon. This was such a great location. We can’t say enough good things about the house. Everything was perfect, comfortable and clean. It felt like we were the first ones to ever stay there. Beautiful home.

This was THE BEST VRBO experience we’ve had. We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend, and my husband enthusiastically exclaimed it multiple times over the course of our 3 day stay, which is why I’m adding it to the review. The host’s communication was prompt, clear, and helpful throughout our stay. The VRBO was immaculate and the property was exceptionally well-maintained. It was obvious that the hosts had thoughtfully anticipated guests’ needs, providing not only all the essentials but many small conveniences that made our stay even more enjoyable.
