A vacation home just like the one we’ve all been looking for: a former railroad signalman’s house in an idyllic, secluded location. Trains haven’t run here for a long time, though. Here, you can experience the tranquility of the countryside and the solitude of nature. The former railroad embankment is now a well-maintained bike path that takes you to the Pirk Dam—where you can swim and go boating—in just 20 minutes.
The railroad guard’s house, situated on a 3,000 m² lot, has been ecologically renovated and rebuilt. The house has 3 bedrooms with beds for up to 9 people. It’s in a truly secluded location—the feeling of being completely free and independent is what keeps drawing people back. With its own well, wood-burning heating, fruit trees, and vast property, it has the potential for self-sufficiency. But it also offers every modern convenience: for example, wall-mounted heating and hot water “right from the wall.” Despite its secluded location, you’re in the heart of a historic cultural landscape: culture, recreation, and shops—all nearby.



Vacation home, shower, toilet, 3 bedrooms:

First floor: 1 bedroom with 3 single beds, living room, dining room/kitchen with gas stove/electric oven/dishwasher/basic amenities/access to the terrace, bathroom with sink/shower/toilet/washing machine
Upper floor: 1 bedroom with 1 double bed and 1 bedroom with 1 double bed and 2 single beds
Other: Terrace, grill with accessories, trampoline, pets allowed upon request, non-smoking, Internet/Wi-Fi, first floor with original brickwork, upper floor made of solid wood, all rooms with wall-mounted heating, plus a wood-burning stove in the living room, all interior surfaces of the exterior walls finished with clay plaster and clay paint, bathroom and entryway additionally equipped with underfloor heating
Bookings for groups of 4 to 9 people possible—book via extra bed.
Prices include utilities (electricity, water, linens, internet, firewood, cleaning fee)
Note: Please coordinate with the owner before arrival—directions/door code and transfer of the rental fee to the owner—the owner does not live on-site!



On-site costs: We require a 50% deposit upon booking; the remaining balance is due up to 4 weeks prior to arrival.
