This place was absolutely beautiful we loved our stay at The Hen House and it’s so close by to view the elk and it’s not far from other shops along the way! The hosts are so wonderful and they make sure you have everything you need to have a nice relaxing stay. I highly recommend this place for anyone that’s going to Benezette. And I cannot wait for next year!

Great location to see wildlife. Very cozy and clean accommodations. Well appointed with great communication with the host, Dan. Highly recommend.

This is a great cabin to base your stay from. It’s right in the area for viewing the elk. Please don’t forget about the deer! We saw dozens of those also. The cabin was great. It was very clean and comfortable.

Couldn't have asked for a nicer cabin to spend a few days relaxing and taking in Pennsylvania's wildlife. This is the perfect spot for viewing Elk. The cabin is spotless and situated in the heart of Elk country. Dan was a wonderful host and we'll certainly stay with on his lovely property again.

Stayed in May of 2026. The location was perfect for elk viewing. Very quiet and peaceful. Cabin was very clean. Everything I needed was provided. Loved the back porch. Close to Elk Visitors Center. Close to restaurants. I will definitely stay again.

What a great place to stay. Very clean and cozy. 2 minute walk to the viewing area. Saw 30 elk between the evening and morning there. Cabin has even more than what was listed. Fire pit outside and new grill were added bonuses. Owner was there and very nice to talk to. Place was very private and quiet. DID NOT WANT TO LEAVE!!!

Great place to stay, very nice and clean cabin. Walk to the Elk viewing area. My wife and I and another couple, rented both cabins, The Coop and The Roost great little cabins.
