The Osprey Cabin is a legendary Montana house on 10 acres with frontage on the famous Bitterroot River. It is a spacious 3 bedroom, 3 bath house with 3 queen beds and 2 twin bunk beds. The large modern kitchen has all the essentials and the natural pine dining table seats 8 people. Sit in the comfortable living area with a real wood burning fireplace and enjoy the big screen TV. With a fully HVAC thermostat-controlled system, you can enjoy reliable heating in the winter and efficient cooling in the summer—keeping the home comfortable year-round.To really enjoy the true Montana experience, relax on the full length porch or the outdoor patios that overlook the Lee Metcalf National Wildlife Refuge. Cook your favorite meals on a premium outdoor grill and sit around the gas fired pit watching the flowing river and cascading Scarlet Mountains. Located in the Bitterroot valley just 20 minutes from Missoula, you have convenient access to 4 of the best trout fishing rivers in Montana. Beautiful house and setting. Gorgeous views and plenty of wildlife. We love to cook and the house had everything we needed. The host were also welcoming, and communicated making sure we were all set up upon arrival.

Great property and location on the river. Very well appointed, superb outdoor seating and firepits, quiet and private. Plenty of good fly fishing options nearby. Attentive hosts, fun time, we will be back!

It was a beautiful stay, and I definitely recommend this location to anyone looking for a peaceful spot in nature. We loved all the outdoor seating and deck fire pit. It was comfortable inside, too, but the gem was enjoying the property outside and getting to fish in the backyard.

Such a beautiful and relaxing location. It was also close to stores, restaurants and anything we needed. The house was clean and the kitchen was well stocked. There was plenty of wood for the fireplace. Teri was so kind and friendly on the phone. Look forward to coming back again!

Another Great Stay!

As advertised. Fishing right outside the front door. Beatiful views and secluded. This was our 4th stay at this location.

Great stay.

Very nice place to stay. House was very clean, large rooms, lots of seating inside and especially outside. A lot of little extras provided, like soap, shampoo, detergent, paper towels and toilet paper. Would stay again for sure!

This is the second time at the Osprey cabin. The peacefulness of sitting by the River cannot be beat. Monica, the property manager, goes above and beyond. You’ll not be disappointed if you choose to stay here.

Cozy, beautiful and peaceful.

This was our second time staying at the osprey cabin. It is the perfect location to enjoy the bitterroot valley. Great trout fishing, beautiful scenery, cozy. Highly recommend!!
