We have reserved a beach chair for you in the “dune section” of Perlebucht; this is already included in the rental price of the apartment.
To the vacation rental
The “Kiwi” vacation rental is located on the first floor of a building with 4 apartments. The apartment has a living/usable area of approximately 80 m² and features two terraces.
The large terrace faces south, while the smaller one is located to the west near the entrance. Here, you can comfortably wind down the evening while enjoying the view of the sunset.
The modern, lovingly furnished apartment features a light-filled living and dining area as well as a fully equipped kitchen with a washing machine. The living area invites you to relax with a comfortable seating area, a fireplace, and a large smart TV (Magenta TV).
The apartment has two bedrooms. One room is furnished with a double bed and a TV, while the second features a bunk bed. The bunk bed includes a pull-out bed for a fifth guest if needed (ideal for families with 1–3 children). For younger children, this pull-out bed can be used as a safety barrier. For children and the young at heart, there are board games, books, puzzles, and a box of Kapla blocks.
All rooms are equipped with pleated blinds for privacy and sun protection. Both bedrooms have insect screens installed on the windows.
The spacious bathroom features a large, walk-in shower with a rain showerhead and a “sauna” (infrared heat cabin), where you can warm up wonderfully after a walk in the fresh North Sea air.
In addition to a parking space, a lockable shed is available. It contains garden furniture and a foldable handcart. There’s also space for bicycles, beach gear, and rubber boots.
A beach chair on the dike is also included. Beach chair number 5520, Watt’n Insel–Lagune section.
Location & Surroundings:
The beach is about a 10-minute walk away. Here you’ll find a grassy dike as well as a fine-sand beach. In addition to a relaxing day in the beach chair (reserved for you during peak season), active guests can swim in the bay, jump into the cool water from the swimming island, or slide down the slide. The water sports area offers kiteboarding, windsurfing, stand-up paddleboarding (SUP), and pedal boating.
The Wadden Sea also invites you to take a mudflat hike and, at high tide, go swimming. DLRG lifeguard stations are located throughout the area, ensuring a safe swimming experience. Beach volleyball and beach soccer courts have also been set up in the sand. Kids can jump high on the trampoline next to the sandcastle beach and children’s playground.
If you want to escape the hustle and bustle, hop on a bike and ride along the dike on the North Sea Coast Cycle Route—head north toward St. Peter-Ording or south toward Friedrichskoog.
You can reach the center of Büsum on foot in about 25 minutes, or by bike or the “Krabbenbahn” (free with a guest card) in about 10 minutes. Here you’ll find a wide variety of culinary options, either “to go” or in cozy restaurants—for example, with a view of Büsum Harbor and its shrimp boats. The town features a well-stocked selection of retail shops. For those who prefer to cook for themselves, all major supermarket chains and several bakeries are available. The Museum am Meer and Phänomania Büsum ensure there’s never a dull moment on rainy days. Day trips are possible, for example, to Heligoland, the seal sanctuary in Friedrichskoog, the Multimaar Wattforum in Tönning, the Westerhever Lighthouse, the Eider River Barrage, or to Heide or Husum.
Our vacation rental is a non-smoking and allergy-friendly apartment, so unfortunately, pets are not allowed!
