A warm welcome to my 95-square-meter, beautifully bright vacation apartment! I’m always happy to welcome nice guests!
The garden offers plenty of space to relax, have breakfast, play with the kids, or enjoy pleasant barbecue evenings. During the cooler months, you can cozy up in front of the crackling fireplace, and from working from home at your desk to pampering yourself under the rainforest shower or in the bathtub, the apartment really offers everything your heart desires :) And of course, bed linens and towels are included in the price.
Just a 2-minute walk from the apartment, the beautiful Schaumburg Forest invites you to enjoy outdoor activities, and the Mittelland Canal is also within easy reach. It’s just a few minutes’ walk to the Haster train station, from where the train takes only 18 minutes to reach Hannover Central Station. Shops, a pharmacy, a savings bank, a pizzeria, and more are all within walking distance—no more than 15 minutes away.
The apartment is also the perfect starting point for outdoor activities and excursions, for example to the Deister, the Weserbergland, or around Lake Steinhude. That’s why there are lots of ideas for things to do and activities in the region posted on the information board in the hallway—feel free to add your own suggestions :)
The master bedroom features a cozy 1.60-meter-wide double bed and a large 4-door closet that offers plenty of space for luggage. Upon request, I’d be happy to set up an additional travel crib here.
The second bedroom has a bunk bed with two mattresses (each 90 cm wide). If needed, these can be arranged side by side to form a double bed (1.80 m wide) with no height difference, or set up as two separate single beds in the room. This room also works well as a home office, and there’s some yoga equipment available there as well ;)
The living room also features a large pull-out sofa bed (approx. 1.30 m wide) that can accommodate an additional 1–2 people. Next to it is a cozy fireplace, and the floor-to-ceiling windows in the living room offer a lovely view of the apple tree in the garden. The door in the living room leads directly outside.
The garden is occasionally shared with other guests and invites you to linger with its cozy seating area, large umbrella, plenty of space to play, an extendable table, and an electric grill. The Wi-Fi even reaches into some corners of the garden, so you could work from home there too ;)
There’s also a small room with a few books and toys for children of various ages, as well as a high chair. The coat rack in the hallway has space for shoes and jackets, and there’s also a doormat for dirty and wet shoes when you return from your outings and walks.
From a microwave and blender to an electric orange juicer, the kitchen is fully equipped, and spices, coffee, tea, oil, and vinegar are always on hand, so nothing stands in the way of cozy cooking evenings. The tap water in the kitchen is additionally filtered through an Alb water filter, which further improves the drinking water quality, and you can use the SodaStream to make your own sparkling water without having to lug around water bottles.
Of course, there’s plenty of fresh bed linens and towels available. In addition, every window has exterior blinds, which aren’t just perfect for late sleepers but also help keep the apartment at a comfortable temperature in the summer. By arrangement, you can wash your laundry in the shared washing machine in the basement.
The apartment is located on the mezzanine level of a detached cottage that also houses two smaller units; unfortunately, this means it is not wheelchair accessible (there are 7 steps up to the front door and another 7 down the garden stairs). Right next to the separate entrance, there’s a small terrace with a cozy seating area. Street parking is convenient and free.
