There is nothing like a tranquil getaway to this three-story mountain home to truly disconnect from daily life and forget about everything else. This spacious home is in a great location right on the mountain in Ludlow, a beautiful town close to attractions, gas, groceries, pharmacies, parks, and lakes. You are located a short walk or drive away from hiking trails, and right on Ludlow Mountain. ​​Okemo Mountain Resort is within two miles while Jackson Gore Base is four and a half miles away.

Outdoor living is out of this world right here! Enjoy a soothing bath in the private year-round hot tub, host summertime barbecues using the gas grill, or gather around the firepit on one of the decks for some fun storytelling. This home is also welcoming to up to two pets, so you can enjoy your vacation along with them. There are plenty of decks to enjoy the Vermont summer and fall weather!

This home is large and perfect for large families as it boasts two well-appointed family rooms with TVs - one for the adults to enjoy and one for the kiddos. The living area boasts plenty of windows, offering great natural light and beautiful views of the surrounding area. The kitchen is well-equipped and modern with great counter space for cooking everything that comes to mind, from quick snacks on the go to full-course meals. There is a convenient desk and free fast WiFi in case someone needs to work or study remotely.

Great house with all you need in a convenient location.

Our group of 10 stayed three nights for a family ski weekend. Check in and out was easy; house was clean and the layout worked well for two families; location was convenient. Highly recommended.

Wonderful space for a family!

Top notch bedding and mattresses , very comfortable stay! We loved the upper floor kitchen and dining room table, that’s where we spent most of our hang out time. Pups enjoyed the cool first level. Responsive and kind host!

Family ski trip

House was perfect for our family. Really liked the layout and lounging in hot tub after a day of skiing. Being able to bring our dog with us was appreciated. Will be back - Thanks!

Amazing Cabin for your family!!!

Super nice house with plenty of space. Could be cleaner(specially the bed sheets and comforters, also downstairs sofa) , the spice rack was fully stocked, really enjoyed the hot tub and wood burning fireplace. Little far from attraction areas.

Fantastic spot for a Vermont getaway!

This house has a great set up for large groups on vacation. The sleeping areas are set apart from the main living areas so you don’t have to worry about noise with different sleep/wake times. The kitchen has plenty of pots/pans/etc. to cook with and is even equipped with a large variety of spices and things like that. There’s a grill, hot tub, and table with fire pit for outdoor entertainment areas. Everything was very neat and clean - no complaints!

Good for a group

We did a ski weekend with a group of moms and teenagers. The house is great for groups and was clean upon arrival. It only lacked a few amenities that are not a huge deal, like kitchen towels or standard sized glasses. Some of the furniture in the living room can use an upgrade. But it's a nice set up and close to Okemo for skiing.

Really enjoyed our family stay at this clean 3 level property. Nice location and neighborhood. Bedding and washroom/shower availability worked well for our 11 person stay. Excellent A/C during high temp weather in region. No problem with hot water and associated pressure with both shower usage. Laundry equipment handled all our needs. Kids had fun being in yard and family enjoyed hot tub usage in evening. Close to Okemo for those interested in skiing/activities and Shaw's grocery is minutes away. Plenty of options for takeout food in immediate area. Only concern is for those with hip/knee issues if your chasing youngsters up and down stairs! :) Owner communication was excellent. Definitely recommend this property.

Secret Gem in the Ludlow/Okemo area

Spacious Mountain Retreat is the secret gem in the Ludlow/Okemo area. The house is far nicer and significantly more spacious than the pictures on the website show. We have stayed there already twice and, of course, plan on coming back. There are a lot of small details attended to that make staying here so relaxing and enjoyable. All of the rooms are large and the bedrooms have high-quality beds and the house overall is very comfortable. Unlike other houses, the kitchen is not small and is very well-stocked. There is a large eating area, lots of bedrooms, three bathrooms, a great family room, additional downstairs sitting area, two balconies, outdoor firepit, and a state-of-the-art hot tub. By the way, we loved the large mudroom when you enter the house where you can leave your gear without tracking it through the house as well as the convenient covered carport where you can charge your car.
