The space is a peaceful and beautiful retreat in the quaint Maple Leaf neighborhood that's still within easy reach of the hustle and bustle the heart of Seattle. The spacious kitchen, onsite laundry, and blazing fast fiber optic internet make it a perfect choice for guests looking for a temporary home for a longer term stay. We look forward to hosting you!

The home itself is older and sound travels fairly well, which makes it ideal for groups who are happy to relax quietly once quiet hours begin. The tenants upstairs are young professionals and are generally in bed early.

There are a few stairs on the alleyway path to the unit, with a handrail and path lighting to help with guest access. Please review the pictures and reach out prior to booking if you have any concerns about mobility issues.

The Maple Leaf neighborhood provides a tranquil environment just north of the center of Seattle with plenty of cool eateries and easy access to the developing Northgate area.

A parking spot in front of the house is available to guests with cars. 15th Ave also is a major bus line providing easy access to most other parts of Seattle without needing to transfer.

The property worked well for our needs. We wanted to be in the Maple Leaf district and this location was perfect. Parking and access was easy to navigate. Much of the property has been updated with the exception of the bathroom and a few doors but we were comfortable.

Great place and location

Place is just as advertised. Host is super responsive and has listed great recommendations for cafe and restaurants. We enjoyed our stay and will be back soon.

Great stay

This place was so nice! Nice neighborhood, it stayed cold the whole time, it was clean, and it was close to the freeway and some little shops around the city. Close enough to the city without being in the city traffic, too!

Pleasant and convenient

Very clean and recently renovated. The mattresses are quite soft, but we slept well. If you drive a Tesla, this home is very close to a Supercharger, which was one of the reasons we chose it. The owner was responsive to a very minor check in issue, and clearly cares about the property, as it's well kept and clean.

Space, Comfort and Convenience

This Maple Leaf unit is as advertised. Spacious, comfortable, close to shops, stores, and restaurants, and on a direct line bus route to the University of Washington and its Medical Center. Charles is a very attentive, responsive and congenial host. Five stars ! Highly recommended!

Nice and comfy

As described. The amenities are basic but there. The entrance is to the side of the house as this is a basement rental. It is a good sized rental and fit our needs. Good location. Restaurants, grocery stores and a mall are close by. There are so many tourist sites in this area, didn't get them all done. Charles listened to our needs due to my 2 clients are developmentally disabled and we needed some adjustments and he did them the same day as requested.

Clean and Spacious

We had a fine time during our holiday in Seattle. We visited with my son and his family who live five minutes away in the Maple Leaf neighborhood.The apartment is spacious and clean. There are two nice size bedrooms, tho we only used one, and our bedroom had a large walk in closet. This is a basement apartment, accessible around the back, but it’s always well lit, and the apartment is a walk out, so you don’t get that basement feeling.The kitchen is brand new, but the bathroom needs some work, tho it was clean as was the whole place. The neighborhood is not grand, tho it seemed quite safe, and the street is busy, so it’s a bit tricky pulling into the parking place. Nonetheless we had a lovely time at a very nice place!

Very responsive host

We arrived to a unit that was very adequately cleaned and had all the necessities. I will note that parking and leaving can be a little tight and tricky to pull out of, although this is so in much of Seattle. The host let me putter about in the back garden which added to my enjoyment of the home. Anyone renting this unit does need to know that there are tenants upstairs; they are not very light-footed and are up and active much of the night until about 3:30a.m. This didn’t bother me particularly, but another person in our group had issues with it the first couple of nights, then seemed to settle in. The laundry facility is shared, but the door locks securely on the downstairs unit’s side. We would certainly stay here again if we find ourselves back in Seattle in the future!

Really enjoyed the stay the location and the reasonable price. Could be better as far cleaner a lot of hairs on walls, sheets had yellow stains and vents were very dusty. Host was very responsive.
