New, tastefully furnished vacation apartment in a quiet location

If you love the peace and quiet of nature, you’ve come to the right place—the apartment is located in Germany’s largest motorway-free region, the Altmark. The Hanseatic city of Salzwedel, with its Baumkuchen bakery and fairy-tale park, is just 12 km away. The small village of Gieseritz, with its dog hotel and historic fieldstone church, is nestled in the heart of nature and borders a large forest area that’s perfect for hiking or biking. In Diesdorf, there’s a lovely local history museum and shopping options; it’s only 45 km to Wolfsburg, where you’ll find the VFL Arena, the Autostadt, or the Phaeno. Day trips by train from Salzwedel to Hamburg or Berlin are no problem at all; also worth mentioning is Lake Arendsee, often called the “Pearl of the Altmark.”On our property, there’s a stork’s nest, chickens, a cat, and a sweet dog named Peppi; we also have a pool that can be used by arrangement.
