Cozy cottage with nice view

Nice clean cottage and property with nice beach and view. Close to attractions in Cavendish, Charlottetown, national parks and deep sea fishing (North Rustico etc.) The location allows reaching most of the island with a reasonable drive for day trips.

Another wonderful stay at this gorgeous property! Plenty of room for six adults and three kids. We used the pool daily and enjoyed dinners in the covered porch. The view of the bay and the iconic sunsets were loved by all. A short drive away from beautiful beaches and yummy seafood and ice cream. I highly recommend this property to large groups looking for a relaxing vacation!

Amazing time at Broderick by the Bay

We had an amazing time. The pool was a big hit. The house was clean, confortable and felt like home away from home. Owners were great.

The cottage

We had a very good week at the cottage . The pool was amazing and the screen room was really great keeping the flies away and to enjoy the view and the breeze.

A great two weeks at Broderick’s by the Bay!

We had lots of fun swimming in the pool, walking on the shore, and playing basketball and soccer outside. We also had fun going to the nearby beaches. John and Edie were great hosts and the cottage was very clean.

Fantastic

This property was incredible! It checked off all of our boxes, and even the boxes we didn't anticipate. I would definitely recommend this property to others, and I would stay there again next time I'm in the area.

My family and I had a good stay. The downfall was the mosquitoes. They were everywhere thank goodness for the screened in porch. The pool could have been cleaner although it was a great addition. The kitchen had all of the amenities required and the bbq was perfect.

PEI Vacation

We had a great vacation at your cottage. It was very well equipped with everything you could need and more. We spent most of our time enjoying the pool. Very private which was so nice. Thankyou!

Great for family

This is a wonderful place for a family. The pool was fantastic and there are plenty of choices to sit in either the sun or the shade. The beds were comfortable and there is plenty of closet space (so often missing in a cottage). The location is very private and quiet yet Tracadie beach, which is perfect for young children, is only a short drive away. I would definitely recommend it.

Amazing Cottage for our Family

We had an amazing PEI vacation with our children and grandchildren. The cottage was the perfect place for our crew to have breakfast, relax in the afternoon or come home to after exploring the island. It had everything we needed and the pool was a great treat for us all. We will definitely rent the cottage again if we are back in PEI.

Wonderful place to stay

The cottage had plenty of space for 7 which were made up of three generations. The pool was a big hit for everyone and was used everyday. We ate all our meals and spent evenings in the gazebo. The cottage was close to a great seafood take out Fin Folk and ice cream place and a beach you can walk on for miles. The whole family enjoyed our week and made a lot of memories.

Lovely Cottage

We loved our stay at the Brodericks' cottage. The space was perfect for our family of four plus two grandparents and dog, with a great pool and ample comfortable, breezy space. The location is gorgeous, with unbelievable sunsets, lots of herons, eagles, opsreys, kingfishers and other other birds looking for fish. The hosts were excellent. We'll be back.

Wonderful Family Cottage

We had a wonderful family vacation at Broderick by the Bay. The house was spacious and had lots of room for our family of 8 adults and 3 grandchildren! Everything we needed to cook fresh seafood dinners was provided and the pool was a great hit for the whole family. Our two family dogs were welcome and had lots of property to run on as well as walks down the country lane. If we come back to PEI we would definitely rent this cottage again.

Family reunion

Very nice property with all amenities and everything you need for your stay. An item was left in the property and the owner John promptly located the item and sent it in the mail. Above and beyond!

Beautiful family holiday!

This is an amazing property right on the bay. Only a 10 minute car ride to quiet beaches, bike paths along the coast and Covehead light house. The house is large, amenities were well maintained and everything was very clean. There was ample space for our family of 10. We used the large- sized, 86 degree pool daily. We definitely recommend this property.

We had an incredible week stay at Broderick by the Bay. The cottage has everything you could ever need. Great bedrooms, fully stocked kitchen and lots of great living and rest areas. The decks are great for enjoying the wildlife and incredible view of the bay. And the pool is a game changer, especially with the kids. Perfect location - very close to the beach and to town. We could not have been happier. Hope to be back soon.

Broderick by the Bay

A wonderful, relaxing and private cottage with all the amenities of home, actually more than home because of the pool. Aside from the spacious, inviting cottage and grounds with swings and basketball net, there were wonderful books and board games available for all ages during quiet time with my grandaughter and comfy chairs with handmade quilts to curl up in. I would recommend this little PEI oasis to anyone.

House was clean with plenty of room. Pool was clean but cooler than advertised - only hit 75 degrees F at best. Lost of towels and kitchen supplies.

We didn't want to leave!

We had such an amazing time! The cottage was clean and comfy and definitely big enough for our family; The kids - including the grown up ones lol - thoroughly enjoyed the swimming pool. But my favorite part? Sitting on the back porch every morning while listening to the birds and looking at the water. If we ever make it back to the Island, this is THE place I'd want to be!

A Little Piece of Heaven

Broderick by the Bay really is a little piece of heaven! Peaceful and private, this home is the perfect spot for a relaxing PEI vacation. Many hours were spent in and around the pool and the screened in gazebo was the most beautiful spot to enjoy morning coffee overlooking the bay and evening meals watching the spectacular sunsets! This home has everything you need and more and felt like our “home away from home” for the week. I wished we could have stayed longer and hope to return again soon! A fox even peeked out of the trees as we were leaving on our way home this morning!

Great PEI Experience!

We traveled from BC, our first trip this far East in Canada, attending a highland dance competition and to celebrate Canada's 150. We could not have asked for a better PEI experience. This welcoming cottage with a pool and on the bay is as charming as it gets. My wife and two children, 11 and 14, of which the 14 year old celebrated her birthday while here, and grandma and grandpa all fit comfortably, and only 20 minutes from Charlottetown. The owners, Edie and John, are true to the PEI hospitality we've heard so much about. Thanks for sharing your wonderful cottage with us.
