Enjoy the holiday home (with approx. 100 m²) for up to 6 persons with three bedrooms, shower / WC and WC in the 1st. Floor and living room, kitchen u. Game room on the ground floor. If you need Wi-Fi access, one word is enough. Through your own front door you enter the smoke-free apartment. Unfortunately, we can not accommodate pets.
Shared hours in conviviality in the parlor of the former farm, cozy conversation in the kitchen or rather absorbed in a book - all this you and your family can experience at the same time in our cottage at the cottage garden.
Close to the center you can enjoy your holidays in our house of our former farm. In the garden you will find sandpit, swing and slide and space to play. Roßhaupten is an ideal starting point for all holiday activities of hiking, biking, mountaineering, water sports on the royal castles Neuschwanstein, Hohenschwangau and Linderhof, feet with the High Castle, the museum of the city of Füssen (violin making) and the charming old town ...

Very cozy place, the host even baked a cake for us, which was very delicious. Bakery was just a few houses down, so we enjoyed every morning fresh German bun's. The rooms were very clean and cozy, the kitchen was very well stocked. Gaby is an excellent host, she gave us good sightseeing tips. Overall very good experience. Would definitely recommend this place

Beautiful property, close to bakeries and a restaurant is across the street. Host is fabulous - very helpful and even gave us a warm welcome with plum cake and touring suggestions! Highly recommend!!

Beautiful location, comfortable beds, and amazing hospitality. I can't imagine staying anywhere else. Our hosts were wonderful. We can't wait to return.

Great stay

Very welcoming hostess, large apartment with well set up kitchen and great shower and comfortable beds. Very convenient location, we particularly loved the play park and mini golf and bakery . Highly recommended , an easy drive to the castles. Just wish we’d stayed longer than 3 days!

Wonderful Stay

A great property for 5 of us. Host was friendly and a pleasure to deal with, she even greeted us with a dessert. House was clean and a nice neighborhood to walk around, close to the market, restaurants and bakery. Definitely recommend!

AMAZING rental!

The Wahl family was gracious beyond compare and their VRBO house was spacious, well appointed, clean, and located in one of the most charming towns my family has ever visited. We were sad to leave and I hope we can return!

Amazing location and host

Bridget was WONDERFUL. She met us up on arrival and gave us a tour of the property. She also baked us some welcome treats and did some laundry for us. There were two wonderful bakeries and a great Italian restaurant within a a few blocks. There was also a mini-golfing spot within walking distance. We loved our stay.

Roomy house with great park nearby

This house was a great fit for our large family. It is close to a great park that includes a minigolf course. Down the street are a bakery and the local church which is very nice. 20 minutes from Neuchwanstein. Host was very helpful.

Comfortable apartment in a beautiful area

Overall was a great stay. Plenty of room for 3 adults and 2 kids. The hosts were extremely friendly and offered several suggestions of additional sites to see. They even left some raspberry cake for us. The area is very quiet with very little traffic. It’s a very short drive to Fuessen, as well as Schwangau, so plenty of options to eat and sites to see. Would highly recommend this place for a wonderful stay in southern Bavaria.

Spacious, clean house large enough for our family

The space is large with lots of beds so it was perfect for our family of 5. Nice kitchen and appliances made it easy to cook food for dinner. Hosts are very kind and speak English very well, which made communication easy. They were very helpful with dinner recommendations and laundry. And the delicious apple cake was such a nice touch and made us feel very welcome. I would recommend.

Perfect in every detail

Very well decorated and clean, you could tell that the owners put care into preparing the apartment for guests. Kitchen and appliances fully funcional, beds were SUPER cozy. Apartment was very spacious and well divided. Simply perfect! The neighbourhood is also amazing for biking and hiking.

The absolute best!

This wonderful property and host were one of our favorites. The flat had everything you need. The host was prenominal. She and her husband were very accommodating. Being from the US, I asked for ice trays and they provided them.

Fabulous!

Bridget is a fantastic host. Lovely cake when we arrived, beautiful flowers and local treats when we left. Helpful recommendations. House is lovely and fantastic location. Highly recommend. Only downside was VRBO didn’t communicate charges that had to be paid to owners on site. Wish we had been given total amount not just initial charge.

Quaint house and neighborhood with amazing host!

This was the cutest neighborhood with an adorable house. Easy parking and checkin tour by host. House was great. Beds were the most comfortable of all our road trip (thank you!!). Host was so accommodating - going above and beyond helping us solve a travel problem (not involving the house). Upon checkout she told us there's nothing we need to do as we're in vacation- we loved that! Great English speaking. P.s. the town doesn't have much open in the evening- just a couple of restaurants (bring cash as one didn't take cc).Thank you so much for your hospitality!

Small town, big space, great owner.

We used this as base camp for trips to Neuschwanstein (20 min), Fussen (10 min), Uberammergau(40 min), and Zugspitze (50 min). Fantastic little restaurant 3 minutes walk away (incl. German beer garden) and two great breakfast delis where we had pastries both days. Grocery store two minutes walk past restaurant. We did not try the recommended restaurant across the street from the house as we wanted a traditional Bavarian experience. The German restaurant was so good we went two consecutive nights. Figure 25€ per person for great food, dessert,, and beer or wine. Regarding the house: Accommodation clean and comfortable. Kids playroom, living room, and well equipped kitchen downstairs. Upstairs three good bedrooms and two bathrooms. Only one shower. So peaceful and quiet. Parking right outside front door. Laundry was easy as owner helped us with on-site machines. This was about halfway through 16 day trip so we had a lot of laundry to do. Easy. Great base to explore region.

Beginnend mit einem überaus freundlichen Empfang durch die Vermieterin, einer Führung durch die Ferienwohnung und ein paar Tipps zu Wandertouren in der Umgebung haben wir eine wunderschöne Zeit verbracht. Sauber und zweckmäßig eingerichtet, und sehr gut gelegen, ist die Ferienwohnung absolut empfehlenswert.

Nach der überaus freundlichen Begrüßung wurden von der Gastgeberin viele hilfreiche Tipps für den Aufenthalt gegeben. Die Wohnung selbst ist recht groß und großzügig ausgestattet. Es ist eine Wohnung in einem Bauernhaus, bei welcher das Badezimmer allerdings wegen der Größe deutlich nicht mehr dem heutigen Standard entspricht. Der Ort und die Gegend haben einen hohen Freizeitwert, der auch für Kinder geeignet ist. Eine schöne Region, die Lust auf weitere Aufenthalte macht

Wir waren zu fünft für ein Wochenende in dem charmanten ehemaligen Bauernhaus und waren sehr zufrieden! Das Haus ist sehr gepflegt und sauber und mit allem ausgestattet, der Kontakt mit der Gastgeberin herzlich und unkompliziert. Die Matratzen in den Betten sind hervorragend. Wir haben wunderbar am Tisch vorm Haus sitzen und in Sonne frühstücken können, und direkt vom Haus aus auf Empfehlung der Gastgeberin eine schöne Wanderung ( zum Faulensee) gemacht. Wir kommen gerne wieder!
