For longer excursions, Dubrovnik is not far away or the Peljesac peninsula with its famous vineyards, as well as the island of Korcula, known as the home of the famous explorer Marco Polo. To the north you will find Mostar with its famous bridge, the pilgrimage site of Medjugorje and the islands of Hvar and Brac.
