Point NEMO Digital Detox - Jowa House with Sauna

Punkt NEMO Digital Detox is a secluded off-grid retreat surrounded by the forests of the Izera Mountains, created for slowing down, disconnecting from everyday noise and reconnecting with nature. Choose between two distinctive cabins: JOWA for up to 3 guests or MAGA for up to 4. Both feature a fireplace, private outdoor space and access to a sauna.



The Space:

Punkt NEMO consists of two independent tiny houses: JOWA and MAGA. Both are year-round, wood-heated cabins with a kitchenette and a private bathroom with a shower and toilet. Fresh bed linen, towels and blankets are provided.



JOWA is the more compact option, measuring around 30 m² and accommodating up to 3 guests. Its open-plan interior includes a double bed, a single sofa bed, a kitchenette and a dining table. The cabin is heated by a wood-burning fireplace.



Both cabins feature kitchenettes with a cooking hob, kettle and basic cooking equipment, including dishes, cutlery, pots and pans.



A key part of the experience is the property's off-grid character. Point NEMO operates independently of the public electricity, water and sewage networks. Electricity is stored in a solar-powered energy bank, while water comes from a well. It is an intentional return to a simpler way of living and an essential part of the stay.



Guest Access:

Guests have exclusive use of their chosen cabin and its outdoor area. Each cabin has its own barbecue area and picnic table. There is also a large communal-style fire pit located in the forest.



Firewood is provided on site at no additional charge. Fires may only be lit in designated areas and in accordance with the instructions provided in the cabin.



The sauna is a shared relaxation area available to guests of both cottages and is not available for exclusive use. Use of the sauna requires prior arrangement with the owner on site. The cost is PLN 150 per hour.



Pets are welcome. The pet fee is PLN 120.



Outdoor guest parking is available on the property.



Guests can store their own bicycles by the cabins or indoors.



A local tax of 3 zł per night per person applies at the property.



The Neighborhood:

Punkt NEMO is a great base for exploring Mirsk and the Izera Mountains. Nearby, you can discover Świeradów-Zdrój, Giebułtów, Krobica, Mroczkowice and Rębiszów, as well as numerous hiking and cycling trails and Single Track routes.



Perfect for day trips are Hala Izerska, the Izera Dark-Sky Park, Stanisław Quartz Mine, Czocha Castle, Chojnik Castle, Szklarska Poręba, Sky Walk in Świeradów-Zdrój and Frýdlant Castle in the Czech Republic.



The Izera Mountains combine beautiful landscapes, nature and history - from former mines and adits to castles and scenic mountain trails. Punkt NEMO is an ideal stop for an active getaway and discovering unique places on both sides of the border.



Guests can also arrange an individual kayaking trip through the Bóbr Valley or a sunset pontoon-boat cruise near Czocha Castle.



Getting Around:

You can reach the facility by car via a paved forest road. If you're using Google Maps, enter the Circle K gas station in Mirsk, followed by the facility's address: Kamień 47.



Other Things to Note:

Punkt NEMO is a small off-grid settlement, created for those looking to slow down, reconnect with nature and enjoy a more mindful way of travelling. Staying here is a little different from a standard accommodation experience – it is an opportunity to step away from everyday routines and experience a simpler way of living surrounded by nature.



Electricity is stored in a solar-powered energy bank. Depending on nighttime consumption, temporary power interruptions may occur. These are a natural part of life in an off-grid settlement and are not considered a malfunction. Backup lighting is provided in the cabins.



Hot water is heated daily around midday. Depending on usage, temporary interruptions to the water supply may occur at night. We kindly ask guests to use water and other utilities thoughtfully, helping us preserve the resources and unique character of this place.



The cabins do not have refrigerators. Food requiring refrigeration can be stored in a location indicated by the Host.



Friendly and gentle dogs live on the property. They are accustomed to guests and may move freely around the settlement, forming part of the everyday, natural atmosphere of Punkt NEMO.



For everyone's safety, however, we kindly ask guests to check with the Host before approaching the dogs, especially near their kennels. Please do not feed or touch the dogs without the Host's permission.



Due to the off-grid nature of the settlement, guests are asked not to use personal electrical appliances other than those provided in the cabin. Charging phones, laptops and flashlights is permitted.



This small change in everyday habits allows us to make responsible use of solar energy and preserve the natural character of the place.



At Punkt NEMO, we value peace, quiet and the opportunity to truly disconnect from everyday life. Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM.



For the comfort of all guests, smoking is not permitted inside the cabins, including the use of e-cigarettes.
